This week we are welcoming back the lovely Chris Bedford aka Pear Shaped Crafting into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!

Chrismade a little book about the meaning of some stencilled and stamped flowers by Kim Dellow, Jo Firth Young, Elena Zinski and Tracy Scott. She used Paper Artsy Fresco Finish Paints and Infusions as well as Distress Oxides and Distress Inks and Derwent Inktense Pencils. She has quite few pages completed but the inside is a work in progress so please pop by to see more pics!

Andrea made a pair of brightly-colored notebooks using some of her favorite Paper Artsy stamp sets (Eclectica EEA03, Eclectica EKD02, and Eclectica EEA05).  The Prima Mixed Media Traveler’s Journals are great for revamping the covers on.

Anna-Karin interpreted this theme a little differently and thought about the sea when hearing ‘bright and beautiful’, probably because of being in a summer mood. She created a dramatic seaside scene using Paper Artsy’s Infusions Colored Stains and the Eclectica3 Scrapcosy 11 stamp set.

Barbara this week was inspired by bright colors! She used  Paper Artsy Kim  Dellow Eclectica3 StencilPaper Artsy Stamp Hot  Pick 1501,  Paper Artsy Seth  Apter 01 Eclectica3, Tim Holtz Sizzix Funky Floral 3 and a beautiful pictures from Idea-ology Paper Dolls.

Cheiron was inspired by vivid colors, and what better way to share them than with a bright pink pig! She used the Paper Artsy Mini 18 Cling stamp on her card along with a background using Tim Holtz Layering Stencils, Halftone and Rings Cling stamps and Tim Holtz Snarky Small Talk Stickers.

Emma created a bright background for her panel using three colours of PaperArtsy Infusions ~ Are You Cerise, Golden Sands and Sunset Beach. She added stamped butterflies from the Tim Holtz Flutter stamp set and a beautiful Photo Booth image to complete her project.

Kath created a bright and colourful canvas using PaperArtsy Fresco Finish Paints, PaperArtsy Stencils  PS081 and  PS001, JOFY 64, JOFY Mini 58 and ELB31 stamp sets

Macarena went into a colorful card with plenty of  Paper Artsy Jofy Mini 13 and Jofy Mini 46 flowers. Her textured background was made using Tim Holtz Mosaic Stencil and several Paper Artsy Infusions.

Maura  was inspired by James Herriot’s book to make her trio of critters ATCs. She used Paper Artsy’s Zini 10, Zini 12, and Zini 13 mini stamps, along with Paper Artsy South Pacific acrylic paint and their Rusty Car Infusion.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media canvas using Paper Artsy Mini Gear Rubber Stamp on the background and painted a girl using Ranger Dylusions Paints.

Sandra went for her favorite PaperArtsy products ever, Infusions. She used the most bright ones A Bit Jaded, Lemoncello and Are You Cerise. To create texture for the background she used the Alpha Embossing Folder.

Zoey used Paper Artsy EVERYTHING ART 05 ECLECTICA3 Rubber Cling Stamp EEA05 and some really bright Distress Paint to decorate this tag – she also had fun add some layering with Botanical and Paper Doll.

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
