This is Alison’s last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your creations over the past month. It has been a real pleasure having you along with us :-)

Alison has been playing with lots of Tim Holtz products. An Inventor Stamp Set, the new 3D Foundry Texture Fade, Gadget Gears, Foundry Adornments, Countdown Brads.  And to echo the inventions, there’s an Idea-ology Monocle, one of the lenses in those amazing goggles, and a recycled lightbulb added to the mix.  There are some Paper Dolls taking the roles of the inventors, and the whole thing is in an inverted 12 x 12 canvas lined with the Dapper Paper and altered with the PaperArtsy Crackle Glaze treatment round the outside.

Andrea made a card with a spinning sentiment wheel for any mechanically-minded man to enjoy.  She used Lawn Fawn’s Reveal Wheel die cut set and the corresponding Reveal Wheel Sentiments stamp set.

Anna-Karin told the story of an adventure at sea, with paint and Tim Holtz stamps on a Medium Etcetera Tag. The tag was embellished with Sizzix die cut gears and idea-ology pieces.

Barbara created her project using Tim Holtz Idea-ology Mini ClipboardTim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Inventor 1, Tim Holtz Sizzix Gearhead and Idea-ology Paper Dolls. She painted this work with Paper Artsy Infusions.

Cheiron created an Etcetera Medium Tag based on the metal tag in the Tim Holtz Foundry Adorment pack …complete with a ‘company photo’ from the Found Relatives pack and and a background created from the Tim Holtz/SIzzix Foundry 3D Texture Fade and different colors of Sizzix Foil Adhesive Sheets that she patched together to create a background.

Emma made a Father’s Day card for her Dad and used the brand new Mechanics and Foundry 3D Texture Fades from Tim Holtz to create a metallic background, together with Industrial die cut gears, a paper doll and a banner created using the Sentiments Word Thinlits Die.

Kath created a faux wood panel using Tim Holtz Lumber and Foundry 3-D Texture Fade Embossing Folders, added Idea-ology Collector Layers,a dapper gent from Found Relatives, Mixed Media, Scribbles and Splats Thinlits die cuts and Idea-ology Sprocket Gears

Lols made a card for her Dad using a Visible Image Ahead Of Our Time Clear Stamp Set and Strobes Stencil. She stamped the image using Versafine Onyx Pigment Ink and heat embossed with Clear Embossing Powder, she then masked the image before stencilling the background with Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Ink.

Macarena  made a card for her friend who is a huge fan of fishing. She built this textured fish from scratch and covered it with lots of layers of Ranger Grit Paste, Prima Stone Effect Pastes and Prima Patina Effect Pastes.

Maura  made adventurous birthday cards for her sons, using AALL and Create’s Stencil 8, Visible Image Ahead of Our Time and Tim Holtz Theories stamps.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Sizzix Die Gadget Gears and decorated with stamped image using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps Travel Ways.

Sandra made a Father’s Day card using lots of blue tones like in Distress Faded Jeans, Chipped Sapphire, Infusions In The Navy and Royal Blood.

Zoey used the “masculine” Blue tones to create these ATC cards – she also used a couple of The Crafter’s Workshop stencils and Distress inkto decorate them.

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
