It is Amber’s last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your fabulous projects that you have shared with us over the past few weeks, It has been a great pleasure to have you along with us again !

Amber used Remnant Rubs and Distress Micro Glaze to resist Distress Spray Stains in Cracked Pistachio, Tea Dye, and Abandoned Coral on her tag to create the layered background for the Paper Doll.

Andrea used a Rubber Cement and watercolor resist technique for the background of her notebook.  She used Loew Cornell watercolors, a girl image from Jane Davenport’s Mixed Media 2 Collage Papers and an all-time favorite sentiment stamp from Impression Obsession called She Was Tired.

Anna-Karin made a Valentine’s shaker card this week, using a Ranger Distress Glaze resist technique together with the Sizzix Bohemian Heart Impresslits. The shaker has several layers and is filled with sequins, beads and mica flakes.

Barbara created two cards using two different resist techniques: Dina Wakley White Gesso   and Ranger embossing powder Clear with Distress Oxides. She choose for her projects  Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Sideshow  Set, Tim Holtz Sizzix Mixed Media 4.

Cathie created a card using a resist technique with Dina Wakley White Gesso. The background is created using Tim Holtz Menagerie Paper Stash, Distress Collage Crazing Medium and Vintage Photo Crayon and Distress Spray.

Emma used the heat embossed resist technique, together with Distress Oxide Inks to create the background on her altered mini clipboard. She then used Tim Holtz Botanical Layers, Paper Dolls and Bouquet Findings to create a dimensional scene.

Kath decorated a notebook cover with Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Theories and Pennants stamp sets using Idea-ology Remnant Rubs, Texture Paste Transparent Gloss and White Embossing Powder to create a resist background

Lols made a card using a Tim Holtz Halftones Cling Stamp and White Embossing Powder to make a heat embossed resist background. Lols then blended Distress Oxide Inks for the sky and used Tim Holtz Cityscape Suburbia and Cityscape Commute to finish the scene.

Macarena made a very industrial and masculine card using heat embossing as her resist technique. She used it on the background with Simon Says Stamp Grid Background stamp and with Kaisercraft Barber Shoppe stamp. She loves to use Simon Says Stamp Embossing Powders which reflects all the details.

Maura made a tag using gesso as a resist and Dylusions Lemon Zest, Bubblegum Pink and Squeezed Orange Spray inks. Then she made a second tag, and turned them into an art journal page in her Dina Wakley Media Journal.

Meihsia created a mixed media ATC using resist techniques to make the background  patterns with Tim Holtz Oxide Reinkers and Ranger Clear Embossing Powder.

Sandra made a card with a resist technique using Heidi Swapp Reactive Mist, Dot Fade stencil and Gold Embossing powder.

Zoey used a White Crayon and The Crafter’s Workshop white gesso to create a restist, then she uses distress inks to create a watercolor background for her ATCs
