Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge
Thank you for joining us for the Food/Drink Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
This week we are challenging you enjoy a day:
AT THE BEACH
The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp are generously giving away a FABULOUS $25 voucher to shop at the Simon Says Stamp Store! All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week’s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post! Ann used the Distress Oxide Spray and Distress Spray Stain to make the background. She used an AALL & CREATE Sea Essentials stamp set for the focus

Andrea made a notebook celebrating happy family memories at the beach and the peace that she finds from the ocean. She used Seth Apter’s Mini Page Duo die set and his Paper Cutz #2 die set. She added some fun red polka dots using Tim Holtz’s Psychedelic Grunge stamp set.

Anna-Karin made a mixed media mini canvas and created a small beach scene. The clouds were die cut and embossed with Simon Says Stamp Heart Showers Embossing Folder and Cutting Dies. The little hearts were die cut with Simon Says Stamp Drawn Hearts and the sentiment is from the Be Your Beautiful Self stamps set.

Barbara created a summer card using the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Stone stencil along with the Ranger Distress Texture Paste White Opaque and colored it with various Ranger Distress Ink Pads. In the center is a photo taken from the Idea-ology Snapshots Volume 2 pack. The seahorse and underwater flora are from the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Sea Life 304 set paired with the Simon Says Stamp Wafer Dies sss304.

Cheiron created a simple beach scene using Concord & 9th Beach Day stamps and dies. She created the sand by roughing up some Neenah Desert Storm cardstock and then stamped a background of birds using Powder Ink. She finished her card with a sentiment stamped in Nocturne Black Versafine Clair ink.

Emma made a vintage style card using the brand new Simon Says Stamp/Tim Holtz Co-Ordinating Die and Stamp set, Sea Life. She stamped the image of the lobster and then watercolored this with Distress Watercolor Pencils, before layering it on a background, created using the Ticking and Grain stamp set.

Kath created a 5″ x 7″ beach theme card using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Alphanumeric Bulletin Thinlits, Idea-ology Found Relatives, Photograpic Collage Paper, Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Mini Splash Layering Stencil from Set 26, Distress Grit Paste Opaque, Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Tiny Text and Simon Says Stamp Tiny Text co-ordinating dies.

Macarena made a collage card using several blue papers created with Gel Press 8×10 Reusable Gel Printing Plate and Tim Holtz Flip Top Distress Paint Foursome Bundle 6. She then cut off a picture from Tim Holtz Idea-ology Snapshots Volume 2.

Maura‘s son gabe her a wine bottle shaped like a lighthouse to alter for his birthday. She mixed steampunk and beach in creating this, and used Tim Holtz Bubbles, Tim Holtz Gears, and Finnabair Honey Metallic Wax.

Meihsia was inspired to create a card using Studio Light Flowers Essentials Die-Cut Paper Pad the background, and decorated it with Prima Marketing Palette Blooms Homegrown Flowers and Waffle Flower Beach Tote Dies.

Zoey used Tim Holtz Sea Life Stamps with Simon Says Stamp Dies Bundle as main focus of her tag. She also used Distress Spray Stain to color the background and to add texture she used layering stencil and highlighted the peek with Foundry Wax

Ann used the Wrinkle-Free Technique using a Distress Ink Pad to make the background. She used Tim Holtz Freshly Brewed Blueprint and Noteworthy stamp sets to complete the card.

Andrea used Tim Holtz’s Treats Blueprint stamp set for her card. The card itself was cut with Mama Elephant’s Deckled Frames die set and the tiny tag is from their Goody Bag Topper die set.

Anna-Karin made a tag with blackberries for this week’s challenge. She used Paper Artsy Fodder Berry Edition by Alison Bomber for the focal image and colored with watercolors. The sentiments were stamped and die cut with Simon Says Stamp Be Your Beautiful Self stamp and die set.

Barbara created a tag to celebrate summer! In the center is a Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous stamp from the Freshly Brewed Blueprint CMS232 set. Around it are small fish and coral from the Sea Life CMS304 set, cut with the matching Simon Says Stamp Wafer Dies 304sss. She chose Ranger Ink Distress Ink pads in very bright shades to color everything.

Cheiron created a fun Aperol Spritz card using the Tim Holtz Sizzix Happy Hour dies. She cut her background panel from the Simon Says Stamp Scalloped Arches Wafer dies and added a sentiment from the CZ Design Birthday Basics set. She finished the card with a few clear droplets.

Kath is waiting for Summer to arrive and is dreaming of drinking cocktails on a beach in an exotic faraway place. To create her card, she used Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Tiny Text and Simon Says Tiny Text co-ordinating dies, Tim Holtz/Sizzix Happy Hour and Vault World Travel Thinlits.

Macarena made a juicy card full of lemons with help from Elizabeth Craft Designs Fresh Fruit Die set. She played with her Gel Press 8×10 Reusable Gel Printing Plate and several acrylic paints Tim Holtz Flip Flop Distress Paint Foursome Bundle 1 to make all the colored papers.

Maura is ready for coffee with a friend and has the card to prove it. She made her card with the Simon Says Stamp Coffee Friend set, Tim Holt’s Bird Crazy stamps, and a smooshed ink background with Tim Holtz Salty Ocean Distress Oxide ink.

Meihsia was inspired to create a birthday tag using Tim Holtz idea-ology Pink 12 x 12 Palette Paper Collection on the background, and decorated it with Simon Says Clear Stamps Hey Sweetie and Tim Holtz idea-ology Layers Photo Studio.

Zoey used Tim Holtz Sizzix PAPERCUT CAFE as main focus of her project. She also used gesso and distress grit paste to create lots of texture. To add color she used Distress Paint and Distress Spray Stain in Tumbled Glass, Stormy Sky and Victorian Velvet
