Snowflake Builder! Circle Card & Envelope with Kristina Werner

Hi all! Kristina Werner here! Today I have some more inspiration for you using the January 2020 card kit! The kit includes the fun Snowflake Builder stamp set, so I started by creating a snowflake card.
I stamped one of the large snowflake images from the Snowflake Builder stamp set in Teal ink from Simon on white cardstock. Then I ink blended Mint and Teal inks radiating from the center of the snowflake.

To complete the layered snowflake, I lined up the second image over the top of the stamped snowflake, stamped it in Versamark ink, and heat embossed it with silver embossing powder.
For the card greeting, I stamped the banner image from the stamp set on Soft Navy cardstock and silver heat embossed it as well.
I used Simon’s Nested Circles dies to cut the stamped snowflake piece, as well as a circle card base made out of Soft Navy cardstock. Then I adhered the snowflake piece to the card base.

For the envelope, I stamped a bunch of snowflakes using four colors of Simon ink: Teal, Mint, Blue Jay, and Soft Navy. Allison’s address was added using a teal gel pen (here are some similar pens).
NOTE: Address used with permission. Thanks, Allison!

Studio Monday with Nina-Marie: No Line Watercolor Puppies!

Hello friends, its Nina-Marie here with you and I am thrilled to be sharing a new Studio Monday tutorial today!

One of our more recently released stamp sets is this Peace Love and Belly Rubs set, which features a grouping of super-sweet puppies! Did you know that these pups were each inspired by dogs that our Simon employees own??

Today I used the stamp set to do some no-line watercoloring. I also paired the puppies with some of our new snowflake dies and a bit of ink blending in the background.
