Mix Media with Shari Carroll: Blessings

Welcome everyone!! It’s Shari here with a simple Mixed Media project inspiration. I realized it’s been a while since I’ve updated my Tim Holtz Flip Frame so I thought I’d add a new piece to it.
I’ve used the Simon Says Stamp Stylized Angel as my focal point with various super pretty shiny papers. I’ve layered the angel onto a piece of acetate so her wings and halo are see-thru.

To start this project out, I finger painted onto a piece (5.25″x 3.25″) of Slate cardstock with Evergreen Bough, Black Soot, and Brushed Pewter Distress Paints, and a bit of White Gesso. The colors I’ve used that go with my living room decor, but you can choose any colors you’d like. I die cut the angel for Simon Says Stamp Silver Glitter paper and my favorite teal from Tim Holtz Idea-ology Metallic Cardstock.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have a fantastic day!!
