Funny Friday: Art Impressions Bus Cubbies!

Hello crafty friends, it’s Nina-Marie here with you today for the latest edition of Funny Friday! Each month we showcase a new Art Impressions set that brings us a smile and a laugh, in hopes to bring YOU joy!
I have such a soft spot for Art Impressions’ products; their adorable sets make the most darling cards, and today I’m featuring the sweet Bus Cubbies set!

The Bus Cubbies set has a die that not only cuts out the windows of the bus, but the doors as well! When you open the door, you find one of the darling critters included in the Bus Cubbies set peeking out at you. How cute is that???

This is such an easy and fun card to make – want to see how? Press play on the video below!

Pinkfresh Studio: Live Life in Full Bloom

Hi friends! Happy Wednesday! Please welcome special guest Kelly Lunceford of PinkFresh Studio! She has made two stunning cards that are just perfect for the arrival of Spring (officially this Friday!)
In these cards, Kelly highlights the Kelly Alpha Lowercase die set by spelling out the word “Spring” and framing it with gorgeous Curvy Floral Vines. In the other card she makes her own bouquet with the Layered Bouquet set framed with the Ornate Oval Frame. Read on for more information and enjoy!

It’s hard to believe, but spring is FINALLY in the air! I love using alphabet dies to allow me to capture the sentiments of the season, whichever one it happens to be!

I used the soft and fresh colors that remind me so much of spring to really bring these two designs to life! Background stamps always make it easy to create one of a kind cards depending on which ink colors you use! I also chose to use the intricate Folkdance Die to dry emboss the background of the pink card.

I love being able to use my supplies in a variety of ways to stretch their usefulness! Gold Heat embossing really complements the warm tones of the yellow paper and ink I chose to use on these two designs and when it’s set on vellum, it really allows the background to show through for visual continuity.
I hope you’ll find some time to pull out a few of your favorite florals to create some soft and pretty cards to celebrate the anticipation of spring!
