DIY: Homemade Coloring Book for Kids!

Hi friends! We hope you are doing well and staying safe during these uneasy times. If you are like many of us, you may have your kiddos home with you. Sometimes we could all use some fresh DIY (Do it Yourself) ideas to keep them occupied and we thought this would be a fun idea to share; use products from your stash to make a coloring book!

We asked one of our amazing resident designers, Shari Carroll, to give us some tips and tricks, and as a BONUS she even showed us the process and got her sweet granddaughter Melody involved! They stamped out images from our Hello Easter stamp set, and started coloring right away! Be sure to watch the video for more info, and enjoy!

Altenew 6th Anniversary Blog Hop Day 2

Welcome everyone to the 6th-anniversary celebration blog hop for Altenew!! If you’ve come from Alex Syberia’s blog, you’re in the right place!!!
As part of the celebration, I’ve created a clean and simple monotone card using the Altenew Watercolor Halftone Flowers Stamp and die set with Simon Says Stamp Cloudy Sky Ink.

These stamps are fantastic on their own to use for one layer cards, and even better when used with the matching dies to add dimension onto color cardstock. Need to make several cards in one sitting? These are perfect for exactly that! Change up the ink colors and away you go!

Ready to hop along? Follow the links below. Enjoy!!
For more information about a bunch of fantastic giveaways from 14 various sponsors, visit the Altenew blog HERE! Be sure to leave comments by 4/12/2020 for a chance to win! 37 winners will be chosen at random from the comments left on any of the blogs listed above and will be announced on the Altenew Blog on 4/18/2020.

Dog & Cat Easter Card with Kristina Werner

Hello, all! Kristina Werner here. Today I have a fun Easter card for you! I used the Dog & Cat Dress Up stamps and dies to create a pastel-colored card.
I started out by stamping the images in a waterproof black ink on watercolor paper. Then I watercolored the images using Distress inks. Using the coordinated dies, I cut out the images and then assembled them.

The background was created using the XL Dots stencil, Distress Inks, and blender brushes.
I positioned the animals over the stenciled background and then stamped the greeting using black ink. Then I adhered the animals using foam adhesive.
Thanks for stopping by today!
