From Label Die to Shadow Box Frame? Watch the Transformation!

Have you ever thought you could transform a Vignette box into a shadow box frame? I’ve come up with some steps to make that happen. The Petal Tipped Label dies come in many sizes making it easy to find the right one to fit any size or style Vignette box.

I’ve used muted tones on the front of the frame allowing my two-colored Big Botanicals Tulip to stand out from inside. Using a bit of crackle paste creates that subtle shabby chic feel underneath the field of tiny flowers.

Check out my video below for many tips and tricks on how this all comes together. Enjoy!!

Colorful Personalized Graduation Cards | Let’s Get Crafty With Caly!
Hi everyone! It’s Caly Person here today!
It’s May and for many, it’s a busy time of the year. Personally, I’ve got a high school graduate this year and that means lots of graduation-related events. If you’re in a pinch for cards, I hope today’s cards will give you an idea to create cards that you can either make colorful, or personalize with the graduate’s school colors!
WATCH THE VIDEO:
The cards I’ve made are ink-blended twice. First, lightly without a stencil. Then a second time with a heavier hand with the same colors to show the Graduation Celebration hats.
If you’re unsure of school colors, you can make your Grad card colorful with a rainbow like I did here.
You can make it fun and personalized by using the graduate’s school colors. I used blue and green on this card for my son’s school colors. The Grad Hat is die-cut from dark blue cardstock.

I like soft and bright colors, but you can ink-blend in any color you’d like and in any pattern that you like. I went for a diagonal design, but this is personal preference. I hope this gives you and idea for quick cards!
Thanks so much for visiting!
