December 2020 Card Kit Inspiration with Kristina Werner
Happy Tuesday! Kristina here. Today I will be sharing with you a card and envelope created using supplies in the December 2020 Card Kit! And these are all about the gold embossing!
I started by stamping one of the greetings and the large image from the Joyful Season stamp set onto Midnight Green cardstock in VersaMark Ink. I then applied some Gilded Embossing Powder. I also applied ink and embossing powder to edges to create a gold border. After heat setting the powder, I colored some of the areas on the image with colored pencils.
To finish off the bottom of the stamped piece, I adhered a piece of the velvet trim in the card kit.
For the envelope, I repeated some of the gold embossed stamping on the flap, as well as a gold border around the main area of the envelope.
The envelope was completed by adhering postage and writing Sofia’s name and address.
