June 2021 Card Kit Inspiration with Kristina Werner

Hello, all! Kristina Werner here. Today I have four clean and simple cards to share with you! These cards were made using supplies from the June 2021 Card Kit! These are quick to create and only use a few items not included in the kit. Plus, these are beginner friendly.
The stamp set in the kit, Rainbow is My Favorite Color, is the main star of the show with lots and lot of stamping! The stamp set is available in the kit, or it can be purchased separately.

All four cards are A2 cards. (4.25″ x 5.5″). I stamped all four rainbow designs on white cardstock using the four ink cubes included in the cute. I also stamped some clouds from the Rainbow is My Favorite Color stamp set in Smoke ink and cut them out. And finally, I finished the card designs with greetings stamped in black ink.
Enjoy! You can pick up the June 2021 Card Kit HERE, or subscribe for this kit and future kits HERE.

Hi friends! Happy Sunday! Please join me in welcoming special monthly guest Cathy Zielske for our latest edition in our EZ with CZ blog series! Read on and watch the video for more details on how to recreate these happy cards!!

Hey everyone! It’s Cathy back with another installment of EZ with CZ! Today, we’ll make two charming mini slimline cards out of one big stamped image.

The Party Balloons Cling Stamp is such a fun and versatile design to use. I thought a simple emboss resist approach using a wash of Distress Ink would make for some really happy birthday cards.

Any time you can get more than one card out of a stamped image, it’s a good thing! Here is my tutorial showing you how I created these happy cards.

Did You Know? May 2021 Edition

Hello crafters, it’s Nina-Marie Trapani here with you! Today I have a new edition of our popular Did You Know series!
If it’s your first time seeing this feature, each month we bring you fun facts, creative tips, and even crafty hacks about your favorite supplies and brands; you can then use these awesome tips that you learn in your next crafting projects! Are you ready to learn some fun tricks? Keep on reading!
Simon Says Stamp Finger Blending Brushes

When you are working with more detailed stencils, having a detail blending brush – such as these cute Finger Brushes from Simon – is a great tool to have on hand! I reach for these often when trying to use multiple colors on a stencil, such as Simon Says Stamp’s Fading Florals.
Altenew Glue Pen

Adhering small die cuts, strips of paper or other tedious elements onto your card can sometimes be a challenge. You want a strong adhesive that isn’t going to get everywhere when you apply it.
Did you know that Altenew makes a Precision 2-in-1 Glue Pen that is PERFECT for all those little bits and pieces? It has a tip about the size of a ballpoint pen and comes with a convenient cap to make sure the glue doesn’t get on any unwanted areas when it’s not in use.
This glue is even repositionable! Simply put it on the back of whatever item you want and allow it to dry completely. The glue will be tacky after it dries. I like using this repositionable feature when making DIY masks for stamped images.
Kool Tak Pick ‘n Place Pencil

This tool is SO awesome! If you have ever struggled to find the *best* picker-upper tool for sequins and other small embellishments, this Kool Tak Pick ‘n Place Pencil is definitely one to check out! This mighty little pencil has an innovative tacky core; just like a pencil, you can sharpen the outer wood casing. I recommend creating a blunt point. This allows you to pick up any small items with the flat tip. Believe it or not, this holds extremely well! As your tip gets dirty, a few quick spins in your pencil sharpener create a fresh tack all over again!
Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Everything Tool

This popular tool has been the hottest item of 2021! If you have one of our incredible, silicone P.E.Ts, we’ve got another handy way to use it! Place your Pawsitively Everything Tool into a round bowl, and fill the bowl with water. The silicone will mold itself around the shape of the bowl and create a bit of suction to hold it in place. Having the P.E.T in the bottom of your water dish will allow you to clean your paint and watercolor brushes REALLY well!
Pro tip: This P.E.T has been SO popular, you may find it is temporarily out of stock. If you find that it is, be sure to click the “notify me when back in stock” button and add your email address into the pop-up box. This way you will be immediately notified when the Pawsitively Everything Tool is available to order again!
DIY Mold Shapes

Sometimes you need that *perfect* piece on your project and you decide to make it yourself! Have you ever tried making custom shapes with silicone molds? Molds from Prima or Stamperia for instance can be filled with hot glue. Once dry, these hot glue shapes are so much fun to color! Alcohol Inks make great coloring mediums for these embellishments because they dry pretty quick.
Bonus tip: When working with your hot glue gun, rest it on our Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Everything Tool! The silicone surface allows the hot glue to cool and simply peel off! Easy peasy clean up!
I hope these tips have helped you learn a few tricks for your upcoming crafting projects… Thanks for tuning in today and spending some time with me!
