Sending BIG Hugs!
Hi friends! Happy Wednesday! Please join me in welcoming special guest Chari Moss showcasing an adorable bright and beautiful card featuring Lawn Fawn products! Read on to learn more!!

Hi Friends! Today I am sharing a bright and happy rainbow card with you using some new Lawn Fawn products. I am in love with the tropical themed products in the newest release but I wanted to share a slightly different take on the tropics and you can’t go wrong with a rainbow. For this card I used the Magic Iris Tropical Leaves Add-on die to frame the sentiment in the center. This die makes a great frame with or without the interactive Magic Iris. I started by blending distress inks in Abandoned Coral, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers and Wilted Violet onto Bristol Smooth Cardstock. After getting my rainbow wheel blended I cut the Magic Iris Tropical Leaves Add-on to create my colorful frame.

For the Background I wanted to keep things neutral so that the colors really popped but still give it some fun detail and interest. I used Speckled Eggshell cardstock cut with the Sunburst Backdrop die to create the stitched rays coming out from the center. I also added splatters of gold metallic watercolor on the background for some shine. The sentiment stamped in the center is from the Magic Messages stamp set and I used the same gold paint to fill in the outlined letters and tie things together.
Finally I stamped and colored images from the Toucan Do It stamp set and added them around my rainbow sentiment frame. I also covered up the paper airplane image that is part of the sentiment stamp with a butterfly to make it match the tropical critters surrounding the frame. I love the bright and colorful look the rainbow leaves give to this card. It is very bold and is a great example of how you can detour from the traditional green leaves into other bright colors and get a very different look. Thanks so much for joining me today!

EZ with CZ: Stenciled Teacher Thank You Card

Hi friends! Happy Tuesday! Please join me in welcoming back special guest Cathy Zielske to share the latest installment of our monthly blog feature EZ with CZ! Read on and be sure to watch the video to learn more! Enjoy!

Hey everyone! Cathy Z. here, back with another installment of EZ with CZ! Today I’m sharing a sweet and simple stenciled card to send to a favorite teacher! We are going to use masking and ink blending to create this sweet and simple scene.

The Slimline Floral Border Stencil is such a cool stencil for adding florals, grass and even sky! I chose to create a very simple design, but I think understated designs can be truly beautiful and this is a great project for any beginner who wants to play with stenciling. The new Simon Says Stamp blending brushes are perfect for a project like this, especially the smaller sized ones, which help you blend over small areas.
Here is the video showing you how I created the card:
