Reprise: Surprise Slider Card with Jennifer McGuire!!!

Hi friends! We’ve been having a rainy week in our neck of the woods, and I thought it would be a perfect time to re-share this darling card designed by Jennifer McGuire in case you missed the original post last year! She used our Follow the Rainbows and Woodland Whimsy stamp sets along with the brand new Quintuple Slider die in a new way! That beautiful cloud background was made using our Clouds for Days stencil! September 2021 Card Kit Inspiration with Kristina Werner

Hello, all! Kristina Werner here with some inspiration featuring one of the stamp sets in the September 2021 Card Kit! Yes, there are TWO stamp sets in the kit this month! I used the Sunshine Flowers stamp set.
For my card, I stamped the main jar with flowers image on watercolor paper in waterproof black ink. I selected the “Miss You” greeting for the space on the ribbon banner on the jar. Then I colored the image using watercolor paints and colored pencils, including painting some stripes around the image. Mixing these two coloring mediums gives it a unique look!

To finish it off, I mounted the colored piece on a white card base with a thick border.
This clean and simple card is all about the joy of coloring. Enjoy! You can pick up the September 2021 Card Kit HERE, or subscribe to receive this kit and future kits HERE.
