EZ with CZ: Multicolor Inking on Cling Stamps

Hi friends! Happy Saturday! Welcome to latest edition of EZ with CZ with the always awesome and inspiring, Cathy Zielske! Be sure to read on and watch the video for all the details! Enjoy!

Hey Simon Friends! Cathy Z. here with another installment of EZ with CZ! Today, let’s do a fun multicolor inking technique to create a gorgeous swatch of color for my fun Welcome card.

I used the Botanical Split cling stamp and I love how you can pull it apart to create any type of background you like! Using Distress Oxides, I simply inked up a portion of the stamp, stamped, and moved onto the next color. No clean up between stamping required! The MISTI tool made it so easy to do.

Here is my video walking you through the steps! It’s so easy and you’ll love the results:

Funny Friday with Shari Carroll: Oh Dear!
Welcome everyone, It’s Shari here! I have another edition of our Funny Friday series with Art Impressions that I hope will tickle your funny bone.
I couldn’t help myself, I’m sorry! This gentleman in his recliner and the messages that go with him had me in stitches, and oh dear, we’re talking about bodily functions. This Art Impressions set is called Sit Back Laugh Lines, it’s HILARIOUS!

I decided to make a slider for him as… Ummm… his flatulence could probably scoot him across the room! As he slides across the card, an additional message is revealed. This was super fun and easy to make. I discovered that I can use the Simon Says Stamp Sentiment Label dies (second from the smallest) for my slider opening.

I’ve filmed a video of the process. I hope you get a kick out of this as much as I did. Enjoy!!
