Enchanted Beauty Rose Love Card: Crafty with Caly

Hey there friends! It’s Caly with you today and I’m sharing a card combining old and new products. The Forever Yours stamp set is new from the latest Hugs release. It was designed by Suzy Plantamara and features beautiful rose images. I have been wanting to use the Sprinkle Snowglobe embossing folder since last winter and thought it was perfect to combine with the Forever Yours stamp set!
I chose a smaller arrangement that would fit inside the snowglobe and stamped it with no-line coloring ink to do no-line watercoloring. I stamped it over Arches Cold Pressed Watercolor Paper and watercolored with Daniel Smith Watercolors.

For the background, I ink-blended Distress Oxide Inks over white cardstock. I used Speckled Egg at the center of the panel and then used Peacock Feathers around the edges. After ink-blending, I ran the panel through the Sprinkle Snowglobe embossing folder.
The embossing folder creates beautiful snow texture. I wanted to enhance it, so I dabbed the raised snowy areas with white pigment ink. Before attaching my watercolored image, I trimmed my panel by ¼” all around.
I finished today’s card by attaching a sentiment strip from the CZ Reverse Foundations Sentiment Strips. I hope you like it! Thanks so much for stopping by and spending some time with me today!~Caly

Get Inspired by Viva Magenta! Pantone 2023 Color of the Year Card
Hello there, friends! It’s Nina-Marie Trapani here with you and I am excited to be sharing some inspiration that I created inspired by Pantone’s 2023 Color of the Year—Viva Magenta!
I used our Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Ink Trio set #12 to ink blend a chevron design with our Large Chevron stencil set. The beautiful gold areas were added with Glitz Glitter Gel through one of those chevron layers. The textured pattern you see over top of the chevrons was created by using our Simon Says Stamp Spun Glass embossing folder. I loved how this added so much interest!
On top of the background I layered our Outline Clustered Leaves and Clustered Leaves dies; one is cut from gold glitter paper and the other I ink blended with Rose ink. A matte gold sentiment using our Thanks Frame die was a perfect finish on top of this Viva Magenta-inspired card!

Art Journaling: Cruising into 2023
Happy New Year!!! I’m cruising into 2023 with a fun art journal page featuring the new Tim Holtz Road Trip dies from Sizzix. I’ve been wanting to use this set since its release and thought of what a fun way to document bringing in the new year.
Bright color cardstock was in order to spiff up my ride! I’ve also used a couple of Alphabet set dies to create the year 2023 and “Don’t Look Back.” A strip of rainbow color stripes was a perfect road, and trees that get better (and brighter) with the coming new year.
