Funny Friday with Art Impressions: Truck Ride Slider
Welcome, everyone!! Shari here with another fun idea using the Art Impressions stamp and die set for our Funny Friday series. Today, I’ve used the Floral Truck Rides stamp and die set to create a double message slider card.

This stamp set is so fun and versatile with the old style of the truck, the pots of flowers and greens. I knew I wanted to make a slider and discovered that I could set some sentiment strip greetings into the recess of the die-cut channel.

These images and sentiments fit perfectly onto a Mini slimline card with sweet-colored clouds.

To see how this card was made, check out the video below. Enjoy!

Distress Reinker Watercolor Painting with Kristina Werner

Hi all! Kristina here. For today’s card, I wanted to do some watercolor painting with Distress Reinkers. I love how concentrated and vibrant the colors are, especially Candied Apple since some red watercolor can fade back to a pink (this one doesn’t!)

I chose the Delicate Outline Flowers Background stamp and stamped it on watercolor paper in waterproof black ink. Then I started painting with four Distress colors: Candied Apple, Worn Lipstick, Peeled Paint, and Weathered Wood.

Be sure to watch the video below to see how the painting was completed.
To finish off the card, I used the A2 Thin Frames die set to cut down the watercolor panel, and to create a thin gold frame (out of matte gold cardstock). The greeting was cut using the Thanks Frame dies.
Thanks for stopping by!
