As an extra special treat, we have brand NEW (and oh-so-cute) inspiration from Caly Person featuring an existing stamp set from Lawn Fawn! Check it out!

Hello! It’s Caly with you today, sharing a project for Lawn Fawn! I looked back at recent releases and realized I didn’t get the chance to use the Beary Rainy Day set so here I am with a fun card using this set.
I stamped the images I wanted to use and set it aside to dry while I worked on the background. On a white panel, I planned out my layout and then embossed the raindrops, water puddle, and sentiment using clear embossing powder. Then I ink-blended the panel with Chipped Sapphire and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Inks. The embossing I did resists the Distress Oxide Ink. After ink-blending, I used a damp brush to lift some colors from the inside of the puddle and raindrops to make them lighter. I splattered the panel with water and blue paint to give it more interest.

While my background panel dry, I moved onto my stamped images from the Beary Rainy Day set. I colored with Copic markers and made everything colorful to stand out against the dark and rainy background panel that I created.
Copics:
- Pinks: RV11, RV13, RV14, RV19, R20 (blush)
- Yellows: Y11, Y15
- Greens: G40,YG06, YG09
- Blues: [B000, B02] [BG02, BG05, BG07]
- Purples: V01, V05, V09
- Browns: E50, E30, E31, E34
- Grays: C0, C1, C3, C4

I finished by attaching all my colorful images to the background panel using foam adhesive for some dimension. I hope you like this card! These bears are so sweet and that little frog is sure to make anyone smile.
Thanks so much for spending some time with me today! Have a wonderful day!~Caly

Hi friends! Happy Wednesday! We’re delighted to say that the NEW Hero Arts Holiday collection is here and shipping now! Be sure to click or tap HERE to peruse the whole collection. But, wait! Before you go– we are so happy to welcome back special guest Channin Pelletier to the blog with this gorgeous holiday card design!
Read on to learn more, and enjoy!

Hello crafty friends!! It’s Channin here from Hero Arts Creative Team and I’m so thrilled to be joining Simon Says Stamp today with a wintery holiday card! This card features several new Hero Arts products from their Holiday 2022 Catalog release.
To create this card I first hot foiled an A2 panel of Hero Arts Lapis cardstock with the Ornament Border Hot Foil Plate in Aura Glimmer Foil. I then die cut the center of the ornament from the panel out with the largest die from the Bulb Ornament Infinity Dies. Next, I fussy cut the cap off the ornament and set it aside. I then ink blended the sides of the hot foiled panel with Hero Arts Nautical Core Ink.
Next, I ink blended a gradation with Hero Arts Nautical and Cornflower Core Inks over the front of an A2 top-folding white card base. After, I ink blended the card front I then stamped a winter scene with the Winter Scenics Stamp Set in Nautical using the foiled panel as a guide for placement. When I finished stamping the scene I then thoroughly dried the card front with my heat gun. Next, I stamped and gold heat-embossed a sentiment from the Winter Scenics Stamp Set.
Lastly, I finished the card by adhering the foiled panel with the ornament cap to the card front with foam adhesive.
