A Unique Peek-a-boo! Interactive Card Design: Crafty with Caly

Hi friends! Happy Saturday! I’m excited to share this sweet and fun card design by Caly Person showcasing some newly released exclusive stamps and dies! Read on to learn more and enjoy!

Hi friends! It’s Caly and I’m sharing a double slider card today. The Slider Plate is a simple die that helps add a fun interactive element to your cards. Today’s card also features the Wild Love and Wild About You die from Cathy Zielske.

I used the Slider Plate twice on today’s card to create a double slider card. The Wild Love critters slide out from the center for a fun peek-a-boo treat!

To begin today’s card, I stamped and colored my images with Copic markers.
Copic colors used:
- Koala: R30, C1, C3, C5
- Bunny: E40, E41, E42, E43
- Bear: E30, E31, E34, E50, E53
- Fox: E21, E11, E13, E50, E53
- Blush: R30

The Wild About You die is die-cut from a panel I stripped with colorful cardstock using the Strip Die 1 set. Since the critters are light in color, I really wanted the sentiment to be colorful.

After putting my sliding tracks together, I adhered my critters onto the tracks and die-cut the pull indicator using Matte Champagne cardstock. That’s it! Such a fun and simple interactive card. I hope you like it! Thanks so much for stopping by today! ~Caly

Galentine’s Friends SLIDER! Funny Friday with Art Impressions
Hello, and welcome back to another installment of our popular Funny Friday with Art Impressions! It’s Shari Carroll here to show you how I used the Girlfriend’s stamp set to make this Galentine’s slider card!

I’ve used the Simon Says Stamp You’re My Gal stamps to reveal a funny message when the sweet ladies are pulled up. The Simon Says Stamp Slider Plate two-rail die helps you to create larger slider pieces on your cards.

Easy Gatefold Card (with a surprise!)

Hello, all! Kristina Werner here. Today I have a fun and easy gatefold card featuring the Concentric Heart cling stamp!
I started out by first creating my card base, which was super easy to do using the Scor-Buddy scoring board (there are marks on the board so you know where to score the cardstock). Then I placed the closed card inside a MISTI and stamped the Concentric Heart cling stamp with 5 different colors inks. I used Amethyst, Seafoam, Sprout, Sunbeam, and Mandarin.

The main greeting on the card was created by diecutting the Love Ya die set from CZ Design with black cardstock and matte gold cardstock. After adhering only have to the assembled greeting diecut to the left panel, I created a second surprise greeting!

I used the “XOXO” stamp from the From the Heart Messages stamp set and heat embossed it in gold on black cardstock. Then I used one of the smaller heart dies in the Nested Round Hearts die set to cut it out. I adhered the smaller heart greeting to the right panel on the card, carefully placing it so that it’s completely hidden by the “Love Ya” greeting when the card is closed.

I hope you enjoy the video!
