Design Simple Cityscape Shaker Cards! | Let’s Get Crafty With Caly!
Hi everyone! It’s Caly Person here today!
The July 2025 Card Kit – Through the Window is available for purchase now and I have some inspiration to share and hope you’ll enjoy the cityscape shaker card that I share.
I used a die from the Window Trio die set and cut off the open windows to make it more open so you can see the cityscape better. The cityscape image is from the LaLaLand Crafts In the City 6″ x 6″ paper pack.

Adding texture to the area around the window gives the card more interest. I used the Dotty Diamonds embossing folder and ran some white pigment ink over the raised surfaces to give them more emphasis.
Turning this window into a shaker is easy with the card kit contents that are available – acetate, 3D foam strips, and star embellishments!
I finished by stamping a sentiment from the Through the Window stamp set. Coordinating dies can be purchased separately.
