Hello there! Today’s card is a combination of all our favorite cardmaking supplies – stamps, dies, and embossing! We’ve got some ink-blending and Copic-coloring, too!
I started by stamping and coloring the images from the Season’s Tweetings set. Be sure to check out the video to see how this card comes together!

The birdhouse and background is from an embossing folder and die set called Snowy Birdhouse. I die-cut and embossed the house with white cardstock and ink-blended the birdhouse with Earl ink.

For the background, I ink-blended the snowy areas with blue inks (Cadette and Galaxy). To give the birdhouse and foliage color, I used Copic markers.
Copics:
- Reds: R32, R35, R37, R39
- Oranges: Y17, YR68
- Greens: G21, G24, G28
- Blues: B34, B37, B39
- Grays: C1, C3, C5, C7
- Browns: E30, E33, E35, E39, E59

To give everything lots of sparkle, I used Unicorn Glitter over the birdhouse and foliage. I hope you like it! Thanks so much for visiting! ~Caly

Statement Floral Holiday Card: Yippee for Yana

Hi friends! Please join me in welcoming back the oh-so-talented and amazing Yana Smakula! (Please note: our dear friend Yana is Ukrainian. To show support to our brothers and sisters in Ukraine, please see Yana’s post HERE.)

Hello, crafters, this is Yana Smakula for Simon Says Stamp! Welcome back for another Yippee For Yana video!
Today I am creating a Christmas card with the Simon Says Stamp Festive Bouquets stamp set. This is a gorgeous floral set with 2 large floral clusters and some beautiful sentiments.
I started to work on my card by stamping the larger floral cluster in Memento Tuxedo black ink, on Neenah Solar White cardstock. Next, I did flick-style coloring using Copic markers, be sure to watch my video tutorial for the how-to, it is very easy and you just need a few markers.

Next, I cut the image out using a coordinating die. To create a background for my card I used one of the Color Blend cardstock from Simon Says Stamp, I picked one in teal. This is my first time using the Color Blends and I’m already in love! This paper is thick, has rich color, and a perfect ombre color blend. It is also perfect for foiling, which led me to create a foiled sentiment. I used one from my A Merry Little Christmas Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate and Die Set for Spellbinders and foiled it in gold foil. I foam-mounted the floral cluster in the center trimming just a tiny bit off.

Lastly, I embellished my card using the Confetti Gumdrops from Simon to add a bit of sparkle.
So here’s a look at the card I have for you today created with the Festive Bouquets stamp set from Simon Says Stamp. Have fun stamping!
