Colorful Stencil & Ink Blending Flower Card with Kristina Werner

Hi all! Kristina here! Today I have a fun and colorful card for you! I used the Flower Power stencil to create a cluster of overlapping flowers and leaves on a 5×7 card. I love how all the Pawsitively Saturated inks create new shades when they overlap. What a fun way to use this stencil!

To finished off the card, I used a greeting from the coordinating stamp set and die cut it into a circle using the Nested Circles dies.

Bring on ALL the Butterflies! Create a Spring Fantasy with Simon Says Stamp Die-Cuts: Crafty with Caly

Hi friends! Happy Tuesday! Please join me in welcoming special bi-monthly guest Caly Person to our blog! Read on, and be sure to watch the video to learn more about this bright and happy card design! Enjoy!

Hi there! My card combines old and new products and combine inking techniques for fun texture. The Billow Butterfly Plate is gorgeous and coordinates with the Billow Butterfly die, which cuts out accessory pieces that add butterfly details,
For the background, I combined ink-blending, ink-smooshing, and water droplets to create a colorful, textured panel. All of those techniques are done in that order using Pawsitively Saturated Inks over Distress Watercolor Paper.

Once the background was made, I die-cut the Billow Butterfly Plate in white and adhered it over the rainbow background panel with 3D Foam Adhesive Stripes to add dimension.

For additional interest, I added Billow Butterflies die-cut with Matte Gold Cardtsock for the bodies and White Glitter Cardstock for the outline butterflies. I also die-cut some vellum leaves using the Leafy Sprig die to add texture.

I finished with sentiments from the Just a Note Notes set from Cathy Zielske; the die-cut sentiment on the outside of the card, and a stamped sentiment on the inside of the card.
I hope you enjoyed this card! Thanks so much for visiting today! ~Caly
