Share the Sunny Smiles! Create a Happy Shaker Card: Crafty with Caly
Hi everyone! It’s Caly Person here today! I’m sharing a colorful shaker card using the July 2024 Card Kit – Sunny Smiles.
The sentiments and sun image are from the Sunny Smiles stamp set. I stamped the sun ray first, then lined up my sentiment words to stamp each letter to create a rainbow of letters.
The stamping is meticulous and takes some time, but I assure you, it’s worth it! Once my panel was coomplete, I used a craft knife and craft pad to cut into the center of the sun to make a slit. This gives me room for scissors to fussy cut a window for the shaker.
On a different panel, I stamped the happy face and ink-blended it with a light yellow ink and added some blush with a sponge applicator. Then I filled the shaker window with Mermaid Tail Embellishments.
To finish, I matted the shaker card with a piece of Bright Bolds Color Blend Cardstock with a blend from orange to yellow.

Welcome everyone!! It’s Shari Carroll here with a simple but meaningful mixed-media piece. This is a gift for my granddaughter Melody, who is turning 10 in a few weeks. I wanted to make something bright, cheery, and sparkly with a bit of interaction.
I’ve painted the edge of this piece with black gesso to make the colors pop. Having a contrast between the two really makes an impact. I also splattered black gesso on top to bring it all together.

4 Happy Cards to bring the SUNSHINE using our EXCLUSIVE July 2024 Card Kit with Kristina Werner
Hello, all! Kristina here! Today I have four fun cards created with the Sunny Smiles stamp set included in the July 2024 Card Kit. In fact, I used nearly every single stamp in the stamp set!
Two of the cards are single layer cards as well, so that means they will be very easy to mail.
All the images and greetings in the Sunny Smiles stamp set were designed to be used together to create sunshine designs, so I hope these four examples will get your creative mind spinning!
I found the Butter, Zest, and Honey trio of Pawsitively Saturated inks were perfect for these images!
