Hello, creative cardmakers! Tina here sharing some pop art love using the Simon Says Stamp July 2026 Card Kit! Pop Art reminds me of bold colors, repetition comics and that classic smiley face in every color of the rainbow. I went for a silly and bright thank you card today with happy faces, stars and bold black and white circles. Sometimes you just need to put giant black-and-white circles on a card and call it a great day! Hopefully, this ‘Thank You’ project inspires you and makes you smile. I hope it encourages you to try something new in your craft room! Happy Crafting!

Bernice Says You’re the Best! Mini Colorize Tag by Cheiron Brandon
Hi friend! Happy Tuesday! I’m delighted to welcome special guest Cheiron Brandon as our guest today showcasing the adorable NEW Mini Bernice from the Tim Holtz Sizzix Colorize Collection. Read on and enjoy!
Hi there, it’s Cheiron and I have a fun project to share with you today with the new Mini Size Colorize dies (and their accessories) from Tim Holtz. Today, we are creating a fun card with the Mini Bernice Colorize die, and I wanted to cut out this cute little hippo in pink and thought she would pair well with some of the Tim Holtz 8 x 8 palette paper in Teal. I laid out all the pieces for cutting out Bernice. If you notice the dies, each one has a number etched in the back to let you know what color is suggested. I chose to go along with pink and cut all my pieces for Bernice out of pink scraps from my bin.
I put the cut pieces out on my table and started layering piece 2 onto 1, 3 onto 2 and so on. I love to use reverse tweezers to help me place the pieces. I wanted to combine some accessories with my card, so I cut out a little flower and some fun glasses. I picked some paper from the teal pack and inked the edges. I wanted a place for Bernice to sit on the card, so I also cut out a piece from the Yellow Palette pack and cut it with the Elongated Hexagons dies. To add some more interest, I stamped over the yellow hexagon using the French Script stamps. I inked the edges of the die cut piece with Ranger Distress Archival Ink in Black Soot. I added another hexagon cut from darker paper in the teal palette paper pack underneath the yellow one and added them to my card.
To add a little more interest, I spattered the card with Picket Fence Distress paint. One it was dry, I placed Bernice on top using foam tape. To finish the card, I added a sentiment from the Simon EZ Strips XL Basics cut with the Simon EZ Strips Banners dies.
