Hi guys, I’m super excited to share my clear animal stamp sets with matching metal-frame cut outs today. It was a pleasure to partner with Hero Arts for this set and my team and I had a whole heap of fun designing them.

There are four characters to choose from, each with their own little outfits, accessories and slogans to mix and match. We used my inks to color the accessories and outfits then used markers to add little extra bits of detail like their rosy cheeks and Avery’s colored painting palette.

Each of the four sets is so versatile and as a collection the options are limitless – you can mix and match til your heart’s content! We like to use our stamps for all sorts of crafting creations and so we made adorable finger puppets with our character set by simply adding a loop of elastic to the back of our cut outs.

Not only are these great fun to make, they make the perfect gift for the little ones. Our model had heaps of fun playing with them on shoot day!

My clear animal stamp sets are also great for creating scenes, making birthday cards, garlands, straw huggers – the list is endless. I always encourage my readers to experiment, be bold and have fun – and I encourage you to do the same! Head over to liagriffith.com for more inspiration for an handcrafted lifestyle. Enjoy! – Lia

Pigment Powders and Embossing Paste!

Hi everyone, welcome back to the blog! It’s Shari here with a quick technique for you.

I’ve been experimenting with adding iridescent pigment powders (Perfect Pearls) to some Viva Decor black modeling creme. From the front view, the paste looks normal and black.

But when it catches light, the colors come out. Below it looks like a teal green or almost purple, I can’t even describe it. But it’s super COOL!

I’ve shot a video of how I mixed the powder and paste and a peek at how the card came together. You can view it below or on our YouTube channel.
