Creating a Scene for Card Making with Pretty Pink Posh
Hi friends! Happy Thursday! I’m so pleased to welcome back the super sweet and talented Nina-Marie Trapani as a guest on our blog today! She’s made this adorable baby shower card with a combination of stamps and dies from Pretty Pink Posh and a dreamy palette of Tim Holtz Ranger Ink Pads. Don’t forget to watch the video!
Enjoy!
Hello everyone! I am excited to be here with you today to share a sweet, baby girl themed card using products from Pretty Pink Posh! I love the stamps from the Simon Says Stamp and Pretty Pink Posh Darling Friends stamp set; this was a collaboration set made for STAMPtember® 2015 which you can find exclusively at the Simon Says Stamp store.
I paired this set up with the Pretty Pink Posh Rainy Days and Holiday Pals stamp sets, as well as some fun sequins to create a really cute scene. The hot air balloon is a perfect size for using with the critters from Holiday Pals and I love when I can find new ways to stretch my supplies like this!
And of course, no card featuring Pretty Pink Posh products can be without some sequins! For this card I used the new Sweet Pea and Share Kindness mixes, along with some Sparkling Clear and Purple Plum sequins. When placing my sequins, I always like to use an odd number; it helps balance the design out nicely!
So to see how I created this card, be sure to check out the video I’ve put together… hope you enjoy, and thanks for spending some time with me! :)
