We have been developing a new line of products that work beautifully in our new Felt and Felting category.  However, these plush dies aren’t only for use just with felt!  You will see all along the hop some very clever uses for the dies.  Our Simon Says Stamp branded felt is special because it is one of the few felts that die cuts cleanly with wafer thin dies.  Also, our sheets are considerably larger than average.  Simon Says Stamp felt comes in 9 x 12 sheets. If you tuned into our Periscope yesterday (the broadcast is still viewable on Periscope until noon today) you can see close ups of each of the new products and some fun samples I made with my kids.  Our family (and office…shhhh…. ;)  Easter this year will be filled with not just candy, but also delightfully fun plush cuties.  I still have some of the treasured handmade crafts my mom made for me as a kid and I hold them dear to my heart. Sharing handmade creations with my own kids is especially meaningful.

We believe that cards have power. Sending an old friend a handmade happy birthday card, reminding someone that you are always there for them, thanking mom for the hard work and love she put into making you who you are today, and telling a friend that when they cry, you cry too. Isn’t that why we make cards? We are enthusiastic about sharing our craft with the people who touch our lives. Cards are the heart of our community!

Simon loves to mail cards to our community of friends. We mail cards every single day! Friends and family all around the world celebrate birthdays, need thanked, congratulated, and need to know someone is thinking of them! As we gain new friends through our business it becomes harder to keep up with all the special events, so we need your help. :) For many years we have worked to hand make cards in our office but the time has finally come where we simply cannot keep up. The idea sparked to ask if any of you had extra cards you’d like us to help share with others.

Every day we are inspired by the cards you have created and we would like if you joined in our call for cards. We are hosting a mail call for your handmade greeting cards! If you are interested, please send us your latest works making sure to include your name and address with your card. It would be lovely if you could add your email address onto a slip of paper in your parcel.

Since we will be mailing your cards to fellow crafters often, we encourage you to stamp your name and blog info on the back of your cards. We will showcase and share some of your gifted cards on our blog!

Hi friends! Welcome to the reveal of our latest exclusive collection, Spring Plush!  The release is focused around Spring! From wafer thin dies that cut the most fun cuties to a stamp set that celebrates Spring and happy chicks, we also have loads of felt colors to fill in the between <3  The stamp set is an exclusive collaboration with one of our favorite brands, Neat and Tangled.  You can see many more great products from Neat and Tangled in our store.

The wonderfully perfect part of these Plush dies is that they push out the dots for you.  You can use the dots to connect your sewing stitches, connect several layers and stuff with cotton, or to add interest to your cut outs.  The dies work beautifully with not just plush, but also vellum, thin foams, paper and more!  It’s going to be fun to see the “more” you all come up with!  Speaking of “more”, you might notice that our felt comes in 9 inch x 12 inch sheets.  These are much larger sheets than the felt strips you will find from most suppliers….and it die cuts so crisp and nice!

Tomorrow we will be loading up on the inspiration.  We will be hosting a blog hop with over a dozen designers who have embellished these new products in the most beautiful and creative ways.  Stay tuned at noon EST today because I will also be live Periscoping this release with some of the handmade pieces I’ve made with this release (with the help of my kiddos)!  We are cutting back on sugar in my household and I think my kids will treasure their plush cuties much longer than the candy.  We are only cutting back…not cutting OUT the candy, so I’ll be using some of the pieces to creatively store jellybeans too.  We will be hosting an Easter egg hunt for my niece and nephews, so they’ll have treasures to take home too. Hopefully you find creating with these plush cuties as much fun as I have found them to be!
