Fun with Masking on the Wednesday Challenge
This week on the Wednesday Challenge we are having fun with masks! There are lots ways to mask off areas that you don’t want to be colored but one of my favorites is to stamp an image onto scrap paper, cut around it and then use that to mask another stamped image, in this way you can create a 3D effect scene. You can also choose to use die cuts, stencils, making fluids or even torn scraps of paper to create a mask! Whatever technique you choose we will be looking forward to seeing what you make!
We are showcasing Altenew Products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in, but if you have some we would love to see them used!
Once you have made your creation just go ahead and upload it into the linky on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog! We can’t wait to see what you make!
As always, we’re offering a chance to win a $50 Gift Voucher to Simon Says Stamp! All YOU need to do is join in with the challenge!
Below are three projects created by the design team, that showcase this weeks theme! You can visit the challenge blog to get all the details and see the amazing cards and projects that the design team has created this week. Painting with Perfect Pearls Pigment Powder
Hi all! Kristina here. :)
Today I have a fun card and video for you featuring the Look for the Miracles stamp set from the June card kit. Plus, I’m doing some Perfect Pearls painting.

Perfect Pearls already has a binder in the powder, so all you need is moisture to make it stick to your cardstock. I created a paint by adding water droplets to the powder and mixing it into a paint. It was super easy to paint it onto embossed images since the embossing resists the paint.
I hope you enjoy the video!
Watercoloring with Zig Clean Color Markers
Hi readers! Happy Tuesday! I’m always so happy to welcome back the bubbly and fun Laura Bassen to our blog as a guest! She always sprinkles in fun trivia in her blog along with teaching so be sure to tune in to find out the plural of Ranunculus! The flower that is about as hard to spell as it pronounce! Ha! I love the way she colored the Painted Kindness in ombre, and added a speckle of black and white ink with a paint brush! You may just have to collect all of the Zig Clean Color Markers after watching this!! Be sure to watch the video, and enjoy!
