Creating Patterns with Shapes
Hi friends! We’re back with the first of two bi-monthly features with the fabulous Laura Bassen! She came up with this fun, bright, and modern geometric design using the Perfect Shapes stamp and die set along with some of her favorite Distress Ink mini cubes, and topping it off with the On the Edge Love You die! Be sure to watch the video and enjoy!

Studio Monday with Nina-Marie: Window Pop Up Cards
Hello friends and Happy Monday! I’m back this week with a brand new video tutorial featuring Clearly Besotted stamps and a fun interactive card design that is VERY easy to create… trust me, it’s not as hard as it looks! ;)
The stamp set I’ve used in today’s cards is one of Clearly Besotted’s newest designs called Best Friends; the images are SO CUTE! One of the things I love about Clearly Besotted stamps is the fact that they are so perfect to color in. They all have thin black outlines and are simple illustrations that you can add extra details into if you are a more advanced colorist. Truly awesome stamps!
I also love to pair different brand products together when I’m building scene cards because it allows me to achieve fun, custom effects. For today’s cards I paired the Best Friends stamp set with dies from both Pretty Pink Posh and My Favorite Things: Window Frame, Grassy Hills, Trees In the Forest and Basic Stitch Lines. I also added a small sentiment tab on the card using a Simon Says Stamp Stitched Circles die; the heart stamped on the tab is from Simon’s Look for the Miracles stamp set.
All the coloring on these cards was done with Copic markers; I’ll have all the colors listed during the coloring process of the video and I will also list them here for easy reference.
