Envelope Window – Monthly Mail Art – June 2017

Hello all! Kristina here. Today I’m back with another Monthly Mail Art video. :)
For today’s envelope I thought it would be fun to create a heart-shaped window. I used the heart die from the Big Perfect Shapes die set to cut the window, and then adhered some clear acetate to the inside of the window to make it acceptable to send through the mail. I love how the heart window gives a sneak peek of the card inside.

I used the Envelope Greetings stamp set and Mama Elephant’s Basic Borders stamp set to add some interest to the bottom of the envelope. I stamped using Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink, which shows on dark surfaces so it was perfect for the black envelope. You can see the creation of the card that I slipped inside the envelope at my blog.
I hope you enjoy today’s video! Thanks for stopping by! :)
