Elevate Your Foiling with 3D Embossing! Studio Monday with Nina-Marie
Hi friends, it’s Nina-Marie Trapani here with you! Today I am featuring our new Celebrate collection and will be showing you how to use some of the products together to make 2 different cards!
I wanted to create a background with our Diamond Circles Foil Transfer Cards, so I foiled the paper with some Silver Sketch foil. I used the leftover negative foil with one of our Color Blend cardstock sheets to transfer the pattern onto that paper for a second background. To step those backgrounds up even more, I also embossed them after foiling and that added some cool texture on top—the folder I used was Flower Buds Unfolding!
The cards are decorated with the new Whirl Butterfly die set which adds a nice bold decoration on top. For greetings, I chose sentiment strips from our Reverse Congratulations set which provide a great pop to stand out amongst these dramatic backgrounds.

Give Teachers a Hand! Die Cutting a Brilliant Background: Yippee for Yana
Hi friends! Please join me in welcoming back the oh-so-talented and amazing Yana Smakula! (Please note: our dear friend Yana is Ukrainian. To show support to our brothers and sisters in Ukraine, please see Yana’s post HERE.)
Hello, crafters, this is Yana Smakula for Simon Says Stamp! Welcome back for another Yippee For Yana video!
I love to do pattern stamping and I’ve not done any in a long time, so for today’s video, I decided to re-visit this fun technique.
I’m using the Appreciate You stamp set and coordinating dies to create a lightbulb pattern for my card. You can simplify this project by skipping the dies and just doing one layer of stamping, I love the added dimension I can achieve when I’m using dies, so I used the dies for my card.
I stamped a bunch of lightbulbs and heat-embossed a ton of paper clips using Antique Gold embossing powder (those turned out so cute!). Next, I added ink blending to a Cotton Candy cardstock panel using pink and yellow ink to make the panel a lot more vibrant, I love to add ink blending to colored cardstock (vs white) as this way I don’t need to do as much blending and I get much more vivid colors.
Next, I arranged the lightbulbs and paper clips on the panel and adhered them using foam adhesive squares. Love the result! All of the images go outside the edges of the panel making it appear as if this was clipped from a larger panel.
Lastly, I added a stamped sticky note with my sentiment. The teacher’s card is done! Have fun stamping!
