Simple Colored Pencil Holiday Cards – More Monthly Card Kit Inspiration with Kristina Werner!
Hi all! Kristina Werner here! Have you all seen the December card kit? I love it so much and have two cards for you today using contents from the kit. :)
For the first card, I stamped the gingerbread man from the Christmas Squad stamp set multiple time across the card front. I also stamped the “From our squad to yours” greeting below the gingerbread men. I colored the images using Faber-Castell Polychromos colored pencils. Then I finished off the bottom of the card by adhering silver glitter paper and striped patterned paper from Doodlebug’s Milk & Cookies 6×6 paper pad included in the kit.
For the second card, I stamped the tree and Santa images from the Christmas Squad stamp set onto some cream cardstock and colored them with the same colored pencils. I fussy cut the images and painted the edges with a black brush tip marker. I then adhered silver glitter paper and red and white striped patterned paper to a Desert Storm card base (similar to the first card). Then I stamped the “Christmas is Claus for celebration” greeting and adhered the tree and Santa using foam adhesive.
To add a bit of color and sparkle, I adhered some of the Colorful Confetti Sequins in the kit to the ornament areas on the Christmas tree. I also added some shimmer using a Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen.
