Studio Monday with Nina-Marie: Art Impressions Window Action Wobble
Hello everyone, welcome back to my latest Studio Monday tutorial! This week I am featuring one of Art Impressions‘ adorable stamps called Dog Mouthfuls. There are quite a few of these awesome Mouthfuls stamps, which are images and dies that allow you to put cute accessories inside the critter’s mouth. Really fun!!
I wanted to use all the accessories from the Dog Mouthfuls set, so I ended up making three cards. All of these cards feature a super fun design element: a window looking into the inside of the card where the dog sits… on an action wobble!
The action wobbles are also from Art Impressions; they great for adding dimension and a bit of surprise fun! Normally, I see action wobbles on the front of the card… so I thought I would give things a little twist and put them on the inside instead!
All of the images are colored with Copic markers, but you could use any medium you prefer. I added additional details to each dog with Black and Clear glaze pens from Sakura; black was added to the dogs’ eyes and noses. Clear was used on anything that would be “wet”, such as the tongue, the drool on the gift, and the dog bone.
A funny story… when I was creating these cards, I saw the cookie and for some reason thought it was a pizza!! Not sure what I was thinking! But I guess that goes to show you how with a bit of color and imagination, you can make anything be whatever you want! I love the idea of a dog with a pizza. :)
One of my favorite aspects of these cards is the cute, speech bubble die cut greeting on the inside. I think it’s really fun to make your critters “talk” and these Nested Talk Bubble dies from Simon come in so many sizes that you’re likely to have one for any sentiment in your collection.
Be sure to watch the video below to see how I created these window action wobble cards using Art Impressions stamps, dies and interactive pieces! Thanks so much for stopping by; I will be back next week with more inspiration for you!

Coloring with Inks & Blender Pen – More Monthly Card Kit Inspiration with Kristina Werner!

Happy Saturday, all! Kristina here with some more inspiration featuring the March 2018 Card Kit! This kit is packed with SO much stuff that it was hard to narrow down what I wanted to use! In the end, I decided to create a one-layer card using the two stamp sets, inks, and a blender pen.
I first stamped the bunny image from the Showers and Flowers stamp set onto a cream notecard from the kit. I stamped it in VersaFine Clair Ink in Morning Mist. I colored the image using a blender pen (I’ve linked a Dove Blender pen below because that’s what I recommend, however in the video I used a clear blender from Tombow because that’s what I had on hand) and five different ink colors: Green Leaf, Stone, Catkin, and Hot Lips from Simon Says Stamp, and Wild Rose from Lawn Fawn.

I used the same ink colors to stamp the ribbon border stamp from the Choose Joy stamp set on the bottom half of the card. I also stamped a greeting from that stamp set in the Morning Mist ink.
To finish off the card, I added shimmer using the Nuvo Glitter Glaze brush pen from the kit to the pink areas on the coloring.
I hope you enjoy the video! Thanks for stopping by today! You can get the March 2018 Card Kit HERE, or subscribe to receive this kit and future kits HERE.
