Studio Katia 2nd Anniversary Blog Hop!!
Hi everyone!! Welcome to the Studio Katia 2nd anniversary Blog Hop!! If you have arrived from the Studio Katia blog then you’re in the right place!!
I’ve created a shaker card using the Shell Shaker die adorned with an adorable mermaid from Mermaid for Each Other stamp and coordinating die set.
I started by die cutting the shell into a white panel of cardstock. I used Simon Says Stamp Rosie Cheeks ink to color the shell pieces that sit on the inside panel of the shaker and also used it with the Brush Stroke Waves stencil to create a light pattern on my card front panel.
From there I went about creating the shaker portion of the card by adding acetate behind the window, using foam tape and shaker contents, then sealing the back panel in place. I stamped and colored all the Mermaid pieces along with the message and added them to the card front.

Hi friends! Welcome to the latest edition of Amore Laura Fadora with the always fantastic Laura Bassen. She made this SUPER fun Hexagon window using the brand new Hex Yeah dies from CZ Design and made the sentiment with the Hex Yeah clear stamps. Love the blended background? She combined Candied Apple, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, and Worn Lipstick of the Distress Oxides! The pretty bling is courtesy of Lucy’s Tropical Paradise.
