Large Numbers & Marker Lettering – Monthly Mail Art with Kristina Werner, November 2018

Happy Saturday, all! Kristina Werner here with another Monthly Mail Art. :)
For this month’s envelope, I wanted to try out stamping the large numbers in Concord & 9th’s Notable Numbers stamp set. I thought they would be perfect for the number in an address!
I stamped the numbers in Acorn Versafine Clair ink and lettered the rest of the address using a light brown Tombow marker.

NOTE: Address used with permission. Thanks, Rose Marie!
I used a mixture of current postage (the Lincoln stamp is a USPS Forever stamp), and unused vintage postage stamps from my stash. With the unusual style of address, I’m anticipating the need for additional postage, so the vintage stamps will cover that.
Thanks for stopping by! :)

Loose Watercolor Scene + Pinkfresh Studio Holiday Cards Blog Hop!
Hello crafters, it’s Nina-Marie here with you today! Welcome to our stop in the Pinkfresh Studio Holiday Cards blog hop! I am featuring Pinkfresh Studio stamps and dies as I create a loosely watercolored scene with a shaker too!
The Home for the Holidays stamp set comes with these darling houses that work with a coordinating die, which makes a great window and shaker!
I love to watercolor, and throughout this card, I used a loose watercolor technique to color in the images and the sky. I used the Prima Watercolor Confections to do the coloring. The scene is embellished with snowflake sequins, White Blizzard Nuvo Drops, and white gel pen details. This created a super pretty snow effect to the sky!
Because the coordinating die creates a window, it is perfect for making a shaker card! I filled the shaker with sequins, including white, blue and snowflakes.
I hope you are inspired to create something for the holiday season using Pinkfresh Studio stamps and dies!! Thank you for visiting with us today and enjoy the rest of the blog hop!

25 Days of Christmas Tags Event with Shari Carroll
Hi everyone! Welcome to November!!!! It’s Shari here with a special tag as part of the 25 Days of Christmas Tags event on the “In My Creative Opinion Blog“. As always, Tim Holtz Idea-ology steals my heart to create layers of holiday goodness!!
I started with a blank Distress tag and collaged papers on top using Tim Holtz 8×8 Christmas Paperie, Tim Holtz Holiday Flashcards and Tim Holtz Holly Collage Paper. The paper pack has some amazing designs and one that I used on top of my collage is the transparent snowflake overlay sheet.
I used the to Tim Holtz Funky Festive Thinlit dies to die cut a poinsettia and some greens which I colored with Oxide inks in Barn Door, Peeled Paint, Walnut Stain and Fossilized Amber.
I finished off the tag with some details using Tim Holtz Idea-ology Christmas Story Sticks, Christmas Adornments, and Pinecone Adornments.
