Mama Elephant’s Rock and PAWS!
Hi friends! Happy Tuesday! Welcome and thank you for stopping by our blog today for some fresh inspiration! Please join me in a warm welcome back to special guest Anna Kossakovskaya who made this adorable card with an equally adorable interior using Mama Elephant’s Rock and Paws stamp and die set! Please read on for more info and enjoy!
I really love Mama Elephant’s Rock and Paws stamp set – it is bright and brings rock’n’roll spirit! Cards with this cute band always make people smile. I made ‘Dream Big’ card with it and I want to share with you some step by step instructions.
I started the making of card cover with cutting the 4.25×5.5 inches piece of red cardstock. I die cut one of the edges with Mama Elephant Framed Tags Hexastar die set. I then cut out three stars (with the die from the same set). And I prepared three yellow stars. I inlaid the yellow stars into the negative places on the red rectangle and fixed them on the back side with the washi tape.
To make the curtain effect, I made some score lines with the score pad. And it really looks like curtains, what do you think? I then adhered the ready red panel to the white card base.
The sentiment is the phrase from Labeled Messages stamp set by Mama Elephant – I stamped it in black ink on the white cardstock and fussy cut it. I then foam mounted it and added the picture of the colored with Copic markers cutie. She is foam mounted too. And few sequins add the final touch.
To make the inner part of the card, U decided to stamp flat image of the band. I stamped them in black ink on the piece of Neenah solar white cardstock. I stamped critters one by one and used the masking paper to cover them. After all of the images were stamped and covered with masks, I applied some rainbow colored Distress inks through the sun rays stencil. After removing the stencil, I blended gently over the entire card panel with the same ink colors.
I then removed all masks and colored the critters with Copic markers, and adhered the ready picture inside of my card.

July 2018 Card Kit – More Inspiration with Kristina Werner!
Hello, all! Kristina here. I’m back with more card kit inspiration for you all! The July 2018 Card Kit is packed with fun, summer-inspired products. I couldn’t resist creating a card using the stamp set, One Cool Pineapple, and some watercolor paints.
I stamped the greeting first using Versafine Onyx Black ink. Then I stamped the cactus stamp repeatedly around the greeting area. I also added the smaller heart from the stamp set in more open areas.
To add color to the stamping, I used the Tropicals set of watercolor paints from Prima. After that was dry, I added some purple sequins (I don’t know which sequins I used exactly, so I’ve linked to some similarly looking ones).
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope this gives you another way to use elements from the card kit! You can buy the July 2018 card kit on it’s own, or you can subscribe to receive this card kit and future kits.
