Watercolor Floral Bouquet featuring our March 2026 Card Kit!
Hello everyone! Heather Hoffman here today, and I love the fresh spring vibe of the March 2026 Card Kit: Watercolor Bouquet! There is so much to love about this kit – especially if you are looking forward (like me!) to leaving winter behind and welcoming brighter days!
I started off by stamping a few of the blooms from Watercolor Bouquet stamp set, using the ink cubes included in the kit. I used Rhubarb, Zest, Marine, and Leaf. I also used the coordinating dies that are available separately to die cut those images out. I grabbed one of the paper doilies from the kit, and folded it up to hold my little bouquet! I also tied on some of the jute string in the kit into sweet bow to add to my bouquet.
For the background, I used the Watercolor Cardstock in the kit, and blended two colors of ink on opposite corners. I used Marine in the top left corner, and Zest in the bottom right corner, leaving some white space between the two (I didn’t want to mix them and get green). I misted some water over the ink blending with the included little spray bottle in the kit, which gave it a faux watercolor look! Once it dried, I adhered with foam adhesive onto a white cardbase.
I used one of the XL EZ Strips Reverse Basics sentiment strips in the kit for my main sentiment, die cutting it with the separately available XL EZ Strips Basics Banner die. I adhered that with foam adhesive at a jaunty angle. I also used the separately available Basic Brushstroke Greetings to stamp a second sentiment in Nocturne ink, and heat embossed it with clear powder for a bit of extra shine before adding underneath the larger sentiment. A few Clear Dazzling Gems add the final touch of sparkle, and it pairs perfectly with the Dandelion Envelope included in the kit!
