Penny Black Florals + Limited Time SALE
Hi readers! Happy Tuesday to you! We’re back today for our 9th day of STAMPtember® fun! Today I’m so pleased to welcome a new guest to our blog. The lovely & talented Jill Foster!
To continue our love of stamping and encouragement of others to love it too, we’re issuing a very special and limited time sale on all Penny Black products! Be inspired & enjoy!
In creating these two cards, I was inspired by the beautiful flowers of summer–trying to enjoy them just a little bit longer before the weather gets crisp and the leaves start to fall. To create each card, I stamped my Penny Black floral images onto watercolor paper using Watering Can ink. I then colored them using Distress Markers, adding water to blend. For subtle background stamping, I inked Penny Black Footnotes using Tree Branch ink, removing some ink with a baby wipe before stamping. After piercing the square background, I also added Distress Markers blended with water to give the background a bit of a vintage look while also keeping things light and fresh.
