Cozy Just Because Card Idea featuring NEW Lawn Fawn!

Hi friend! Happy Monday! I have the most adorable autumn card idea to share with you by the fabulously talented Lawn Fawn team member, Elise Constable! Read on and enjoy!

Hi friends! I’m excited to be back again to share a cute fall card with you all today! Lawn Fawn has so many cute images that are perfect to mix and match to create cards for every season.
For this card, I started by stamping the cats, yarn, and speech bubble from the Cozy Cats stamp set and the pumpkins from the Happy Harvest stamp set onto white cardstock. I colored the images with Copic markers, added some highlights with a white gel pen, and then used the coordinating die to cut them out. I wanted to stick with fall colors, so I used reds, oranges, yellows, and teals to help the images coordinate together.

Once the images were cut out, I started working on the “polaroid” frames. I die cut the frames from the Selfie Frames die set from white cardstock, and then added patterned paper behind the frames. The paper that I used is from the Favorite Flannel Fall paper pack, which is perfect for fall cards! After creating the frames, I arranged the cats, yarn, pumpkins, and speech bubbles onto the frames and attached them with foam tape. Then, I stamped the sentiments with black ink.

To create the background, I cut a piece of Mermaid cardstock to 4 1/4″ by 5 1/2″ so that it would fit onto a card base, and then attached it with double-sided tape. I arranged the frames onto the background and after I decided where to place them, I attached them with foam tape. Then, I wanted to add a bunch of leaves! I decided to use the leaves from the You Autumn Know stamp set, but instead of coloring each leaf with Copic markers, I used the You Autumn Know coloring stencils to make it quick and easy. The leaves are ink-blended with Raspberry, No. 2 Pencil, and Fake Tan ink, and then I cut them out with the coordinating dies. After arranging the leaves around the card where I wanted them, I attached some of the leaves with liquid glue and some with foam tape to give them more dimension on the card.
I hope you like this card and that it inspired you to create something for fall! Happy crafting!
