Floral Bliss POP of Distress Oxide Color!
Hi friends! Happy Wednesday! Thanks for popping by today! We’re here with a much needed POP of color during this harsh winter in Ohio! What is the weather like in your neighborhood? Kelly Latevola achieved this look by combining some watercoloring with Distress Oxide inks and stamped our fabulous Floral Bliss stamps. Some color shading was added with Copic Markers and the look was finished with a sentiment and some sequins. Be sure to watch the video, and enjoy!

So sorry you are stuck in the cold. I’m blessed to be stuck on the California coast where we only have 2 seasons, Fall and Spring. I thought I would miss Summer and Winter, but, no, not so much.
Your card is beautiful. I loved the painting part, but you would have lost me when you got to the copics, except I had to finish your honeymoon story. It was worth it all. :o)
Ooh! This is so pretty! Love the colors!
GORGEOUS!
How EXCITING to see the Copic markers make it even MORE AWESOME!
… YR 24 is one of my most used yellows … it blends beautifully for golden images as well as rich / shadowy yellow elements :)
Simply gorgeous. Such pretty colors.
Beautiful effect! Love the colors!
Gorgeous! I love the oxides inks – they have matte brightness that is so lovely – and they look so good with this flower stamp.
Sooooo pretty! LOVE these colors. Swoon.
Your card is amazing!! Unbelievable talent. I also enjoyed story time!! Too funny! I’m in the frozen tundra of Minnesota, so I understand you being tired of the c-c-c-cold!
I loe to watch you color!! Gorgeous card, and right up my alley!
Pretty card! I loved your story!
Love your card and love your storytelling! Beautiful coloring as always. Thanks for sharing with us!!
I love Kelly’s creations. They are always spot on, and she is great at story telling. Thanks for the great idea!
I’ve never used Copic markers, I’m working with colored pencils, but I love to watch your videos! Your coloring is amazing and I enjoy hearing your stories! I live in northern Illinois so I can relate to being over winter already. Let’s hope for an early Spring!
No wonder it’s so gorgeous! What a labor of love ❤️ I loved your story too! Here’s to moms.
Another beautiful card from one of my favorite card makers. She always does such a great job with her coloring. Love it!!
Love these colors!
What a beautiful card! The colours are fabulous. I can’t believe how many flights you needed to take on your honeymoon – you could have got to Australia in that time! Thanks for the tip for fixing embossing.
very beautiful! I don’t have oxide inks, but I’ll try!

I need to sit down and watch this video in detail. I absolutely love the way you blended these colors. It looks bright and vibrant, but also with a watercolor look. I don’t know how you were able to do such an awesome job.
love this beautiful card and the great effect you created:)
Very pretty and colorful. Great coloring and love how you later went in and used the copics to enhance the colors. Thanks for sharing.

Such a beautiful card! Love the soft colors!
I’m so sorry you had a bad time traveling. I’m like you, hate driving on the highway, gives me anxiety. The plane too does but I have no choice ifI have to see family in India.
Coming to the card, it is beautiful. I love the way you colored with distress oxides first and then added the shading,
I always admire you drawing over the lines of the stamped image. I don’t think I’ll be able to do a good job as you do. Most likely, I will miss the line and create a new line.
BEAUTIFUL!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Colorsand the Design!! THANKS for sharing and have a FABULOUS WEEK!! =)
Gorgeous card! I love the colours!

Oh your weather sounds awful. I just can’t imagine living in the snow. I loved your honeymoon story!
That card is so so pretty. I never knew you could use Copics over watercolours – the finished result is amazing!
What a super card! There is nothing on it to not like!
In my town is very cold too!! It puts me in a scrappy mood so it´s ok hehe.
I love the stamp set! and the watercolors look so nice!
Beautiful coloring with the Distress Oxides!
Love how everything popped when you added the Copic coloring – but especially loved your story! I wouldn’t travel if I were you, either!
This is so pretty, love the colors and how they mix. And yes you are having some cold weather!
I may have commented already but I just love this card and you are one talented lady! I saw someone else’s comment about the anniversary story so I had to hear it too. Rugged.
Gorgeous!
Lovely card!
Such a pretty card! Love the colors.
This is such a pretty card! I loved seeing the process of the watercoloring & how you made it all really come to life with the copic coloring/shadows, white gel accents, and reinforcing the outlines. Great story, too! :o)
such a beautiful card.
