This week we’re welcoming back the lovely Cassie Lynch into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her instagram gallery before then you are in for a real treat!
Cassie used an AALL & Create Stamp and Seek Stamp Set along with Tim Holtz Distress Inks. She added texture using Ranger Opaque Crackle Paste and Tim Holtz Ideaology Gadget Gears. The sentiment is an AALL & Create Sensus Ephemera Die Cuts.

Andrea created texture through layering, using cardboard scraps, and making some “paper charms” that she strung on a piece of yarn. The tag was cut using AALL & Create’s Hexalove die set and the other shapes were cut with AALL & Create’s Heart Marks the Spot die set. The sentiment came from Tim Holtz’s THMM113 stamp set.

Anna-Karin made a mixed media tag with a textured background. The background was created with AALL & Create Mindful Moments words, Distress Paint and a little bit of Diamond Stickles. The house was stamped with AALL & Create Tudor Cottage set.

Barbara made a Valentine’s tag using an unusual color palette:
turquoise and orange. She created the background using an All & Create stencil, Totally Dotty, and Ranger Ink Crackle Paste Translucent. She filled the cracks with Ranger Ink Distress Crayon Tarnished Brush. All the stamps are by Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous: Classics #8 and Valentine Silhouettes cms121.

Cheiron used the AALL & Create Studded Stars stencil with Opaque Texture Paste and Distress Embossing Glaze. She put this over a Dina Wakley 4 inch square tag that she had pained with DIstress Paint. She added white and Hyper Alcohol Neon splatter to her tag. She finished her tag with the Hero Arts We All Started Somewhere stamp and die set.

Emma created a Stampers Anonymous Etcetera Tag and used the AALL & Create Distressed Dreams Timber Tints Papers to add texture to her background. She then added even more texture by using Tim Holtz idea-ology products as a focal point, which included a Vintage Clip and Flourish Adornments which she altered with Distress Paints, Foundry Waxes and Translucent Grit Paste.

Kath created an Art Journal page in her Stamperia Stone Paper A5 Mixed Media Journal using AALL&Create Nebula Nexus and Heapza Hexagonz Stencils, Grit & Grace Rub-ons, Simon Says Stamp Nested Domed Arches Wafer dies, Be Your Beautiful Self stamps and dies and Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Ticking and Grain background stamp.

Macarena made a card using for the background the AALL and Create Metallic Motif Layer It Up Washi Tape and Simon Says Stamp Circle Quilt die. Then she made up a flower using the Simon Says Stamp and Die Mod Plants set and Redesign with Prima Marketing Red White and Blue Mould.

Maura created a tag with the AALL and Create Eyeful stamp, AALL and Create Bolted Gears Ephemera, AALL and Create Aerial Beauties, and Tim Holtz Grit Paste.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media birthday tag using AALL & Create Chain Framed A7 Clear Stamp, AALL & Create Numero Uno A8 Clear Stamps and AALL & Create Buttercream Birdy Bliss A7 Clear Stamps on the background, and added the texture using Tim Holtz Mini Stencil Set 26.

Zoey used AALL & Create Heapza Hexagonz and paste to add texture to the background. The background is made with Distress Oxide Spray and Distress Spray stain. To decorate the tag she used Ideaology Botanical and Snapshots.

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!

Have A Heart Challenge Winner and Designer Spotlights

We have 3 artists in the Designer Spotlight for the Have A Heart Challenge!
80 ~ Christina Canadian Crafter Girl ~ Emma says: Christina’s card is just so pretty, and has so many fabulous details to look at. I love the colours she’s chosen for the hearts down the side of the card, and for the adorable little die cut bird, they work so well against the neutral background. It’s darling Christina and well done…

#32 Debbie Emmons – Macarena says: I adore this card for so many reasons. Love the color combo, the deep red with a kraft and browns look so cool! The embossed and sanded background is just perfect for such a vintage projects. And finally, love all the detailed Debbie used for a focal point of this card. Great job!

#111 Donna Phelan – Zoey says: This card really caught my attention with its clean layout and strong visual impact. The repeated heart design creates a lovely rhythm, while the bold pink and red tones feel perfectly on theme without being overwhelming. The touch of gold adds just the right amount of shine and elevates the overall look, making the simple sentiment stand out beautifully. Everything works together so well, resulting in a card that feels both modern and heartfelt. Well done Donna!!

Congratulations!
