It’s Carrie’s last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your creations over the past month. It has been a real pleasure to have you along with us! Merry Christmas!! :-)

Carrie created some sparkle and shine using various products and dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs. The background consisted of Ranger Salty Ocean Distress Oxides, Shiny Bauble Mica Stain, Simon Hurley Midnight Snack Stellar Ink, and an ECD Stencil and stamps. A piece of vellum served as the base for the EDC trees and penguins, many coated in Astro Paste. The photo doesn’t do all of the shiny metallic papers justice in this whimsical holiday make!

Andrea added shine to her card with some Chrome Silver Cardstock. She cut shapes out of it with Seth Apter’s Waffles die and added some pops of color with Fluorescent Neon Alcohol Ink. The stars sentiment is from Tim Holtz’s Seasonal Scribbles stamp set.

Anna-Karin made a sparkly and shiny Christmas card using Simon Says Stamp new Basic Shapes Squares and Matte Gold and Gold Glitter cardstock. The wreath and sentiment come from Tim Holtz idea-ology Christmas Baseboards.

Barbara made a tag using the sparkly Ranger Distress Mica Stains for both the background and coloring. She chose three sets from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous: Christmas Blueprint CMS135, Music and Advert CMS358, and Tiny Text Christmas CMS424. To complete the tag, the sentiment was stamped and glued onto a label cut with the super-versatile Label Slides Wafer Dies from Simon Says Stamp and a little sparkle was added with Idea-ology Kraft Stock Sparkle Classic.

Cheiron created a holiday door scene with lots of sparkle and shine. She used the Balcony Windows combined with the Holiday Window Decor to create her door and embellished it with a glittery star and lots of sequins. For the sentiment, she used a stamp from the CZ Design Making Spirits Bright stamps + dies.

Emma used various Tim Holtz Idea-ology and Sizzix products including the Engraved Embossing Folder, Christmas Layers and Paper Dolls, Christmas Baseboards and Ephemera to create her final Christmas project of 2025. To add the sparkle and shine to her Stampers Anonymous Etcetera Panel, she added some of the special edition sparkly bundle from Tim, and Metallic Flakes.

Kath made a winter card with the snowflake and snowman dies from Tim Holtz/Sizzix Vault Winter Wishes Thinlits and used Broken China Distress Spritz and Distress Rock Candy Chunky Glitter to create sparkle and shine.

Macarena wishes all of you and herself a very colorfull and happy 2026. She made a really sparkle and shining card using as a background the Tim Holtz Idea-ology Kraft Stock Sparkle Classic in silver and she stamped and die cut the numbers with Tim Holtz Paint By Number stamp and coordinated dies which she additionally covered with Tim Holtz Distres Texture Sparkle Paste.

Maura made a small art canvas inspired by teamie, Cheiron. She used Tim Holtz’s Bold Sayings stamp, Simople Stories Vintage Woodland stamps and Simon Says Stamp Old Letter stamp. She added sparkle with Simon Says Stamp Chunky Glitter and shimmer with Dylusions White Linen Shimmer paint.

Meihsia was inspired to create a holiday tag using Tim Holtz idea-ology 2025 Christmas Backdrops on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz idea-ology 2025 Christmas Sticker and Ranger Stickles Moon Dust Glitter Gel.

Zoey used Tim Holtz Holiday Sketchbook Stamp with coordinating Simon Says Stamp dies to decorate her focal point. She also used Distress Oxide ink and Distress SPRITZ to add some shine and sparkle!
She also used Gold Embossing Powder and Gold Thread to tie everything togheter.

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
