We have 6 artists in the Designer Spotlight for the Make Your Own Background Challenge!
#51 – Janny – Cathie says: I love the background of this card and how she created her first layer with stenciling and then stamped over the stenciling for an overall beautiful design. I love how she gave her bird a plume tail! Everything fits together perfectly.
#179 – Alice K – Maura says: I love how Alice describes the transition in creation of her women in the ATC’s she made. Not only are these little works of art, but each woman, set in a frame, has her own story (background) to share!
For entry No 232 Andrea says: I absolutely adore the way these card backgrounds are created out of colorful strips and stripes, yet they become even more artistic when paired with elegant vintage images. And how clever to make a scene that spans across two cards. Stunning!
No. 183 ~ Enter Into The Magic ~ Emma says: Asia has created a stunning piece of artwork for her nephew and incorporated so much wonderful texture and detail in this project. From all angles it just looks amazing and I have so much love for this piece!
#217 – Kavitha – Sandra says: These tags are wonderful, the dark rich backgrounds with lots of texture, and then the sweet soft flowers in the front and on both a cute butterfly! Love the contrast in every aspect of these tags!
Zoey says: these tags are extraordinarie! The darker sides drive your eyes to the center of the tags where you find this awesome design and fantastic background! Definitely a favorite!
250. Dot Leathbridge – Zoey says: it is hard to believe that this card is a one layer card, it is simply fantastic! My eyes do not know where to look at as it is full of little details and secrets! I love it!
#257 Lethipollo Barbara says: Her series of ATCs is fantastic! I love the vibrant works and the explosion of life and colors of this project themed Nature is really fabulous! Amazing shades and beautiful design! I love them all!
