Crafty with Caly: All My Heart Shaker Card

Hi, Friends! Thanks for joining me today! The Pretty Pink Posh 7^th Birthday Celebration happened a few weeks ago with a fabulous release. I’m using a few products to share a Valentine’s-themed card with you today.

I love creating shaker cards using Pretty Pink Posh Dies. For my front panel, I created a bokeh effect using the new Layered Bokeh Stencils. I first ink-blended a white panel using Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick and Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide Inks.

To create the layered bokeh effect, I used each stencil to add white pigment ink. Be sure to check out my video to see how it’s done and to see how I stamped and aligned the image with my shaker window!

The images used today are from the All My Love and Hummingbird Thanks sets. I stamped and colored them with Copic markers.

Reds: R32, R35
Orange/Brown: E0000, Y35
Green: YG06, YG09
Teals: BG10, BG11, BG34
Blues: BG0000, BG01
Pinks: R81, R83, R85

Once everything is colored, I filled my shaker window with Iridescent Mini Heart Confetti Sequins. I finished by attaching my colored hummingbirds and embossed sentiment strip.

Funny Friday with Art Impressions: Pop Up Giraffe

Welcome everyone, It’s Shari here! I have another edition of our Funny Friday series with Art Impressions that I hope will tickle your funny bone.

I’m featuring the Giraffe Pop-up stamp and die set for my card today along with some Simon Says Stamp Freestyle flowers. From the outside, the card looks like a sweet floral card for a friend.

The fun begins when the card is opened to reveal a silly giraffe holding a drink busting out of a wreath of flowers! This will make anyone smile!

This card was super fun to make and you can see the process of how it is assembled to create the interaction of the pop-up design.
