Hello Lady Vertical Slimline
Hi friends! Please join me in welcoming back special guest Cheiron Brandon with this gorgeous CAS card featuring NEW Tim Holtz Sizzix dies! Read on for more information and enjoy!

Hi there crafty friends! It’s Cheiron here and I am happy to share a fun project with some brand new Tim Holtz Sizzix dies mixed with a favorite alpha. I used the lady bug from the new Tim Holtz Funky Insects dies.

To begin, I cut a panel of Distress Watercolor cardstock to 3 x 8 1/4, and a kraft notecard that measured 3 1/4 x 8 1/2. I cut the words hello lady from the Alphanumeric Stretch Lower dies out of black cardstock that I had backed with a Sizzix Adhesive Sheet before cutting. This makes them easy to adhere to the card.

I measured out a space to add my lady bug and placed the letters onto the card panel.

To create the lady bug, I cut the body from a piece of Distress Watercolor cardstock that I had colored with Candied Apple and Fired Brick Distress Inks. I adhered the the die cut to the body of the lady bug that I had cut from black cardstock and then inked around the bug with Hickory Smoke Distress Ink. I adhered the lady bug in the middle of the sentiment using foam dots and then adhered the panel to the kraft notecard.
I hope you enjoyed this fun and simple card using these new dies!
