Pauline experimented with a simple foiling technique that doesn’t require heat setting. She applied Therm O Web Transfer Gel Duo through a Simon Says Stamp Geo Leaves stencil, and when dry covered with  a Therm O Web Rainbow Deco Foil transfer sheet and ran through her die cutting machine. The sentiment is Therm O Web OH HELLO stamp and die set.

Andrea colored the edges of her ATC with Gold Deco Foil attached easily enough with Aleene’s Turbo Tacky Glue. The ATC shape was cut using Tim Holtz’s Collector Die Set and the text in the background is from AALL & Create’s Mix and Match Washi Tape.

Anna-Karin made a Valentine’s tag using foil around the edges and for the die cuts. The sentiment was die cut with Simon Says Stamp Groovy Love Your More die. The foil is Therm O Web Rose Quartz and Gold Deco Foil. The background is stenciled with Simon Says Stamp Funky Hearts.

Barbara made an Etcetera Mini Tag using a pack of Transfer Foil Sheets from Ranger Ink to add sparkle to the background and frame. For the background she chose a stencil from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Mini Set 25 used with Ranger Ink Distress Crackle Paste Opaque and Distress Oxide Speckled Egg and Ranger Ink Distress Reinker Walnut Stain. In the center she chose a photo and frame from the Tim Holtz Idea-ology Photo and Frame Bundle.

Kath made Winter Birthday cards using Decofoil Rainbow Foil Transfer Sheets to create backgrounds on Distress Black Heavystock, stamped and heat embossed snowflakes from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Mr Frostie, added Simple Sayings sentiments and Simon Says Pawsitively Prism Dazzling Gems.

Macarena used a golden foil coated cardstock Tim Holtz Idea-ology Kraft Stock Metallic Classic and cut out Tim Holtz Sizzix Silhouette Birds. She made the background with Gel Press 8×10 Gel Printing Plate and StencilGirl Kintsugi stencil.

Maura upcycled some foil which she colored with alcohol inks like Tim Holtz’s Flamingo and embossed the foil with the Simon Says Stamp Criss Cross Floral Embossing Folder. She added some detail to the card background with Simon’s Square Dance stencil, and topped it with Stamperia’s Altered Ego Ephemera to finish her cards.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz idea-ology BASEBOARD FRAMES on the background, and decorated it with American Crafts Foil Washi Tape and Pinkfresh Studio Foiled Sentiments 6 Ephemera Set.

Zoey used Decofoil to add some shine! She also used Distress Ink Spray + Oxide Spray to add color and Ideaology Embellishments + Stickers to decorate her tag. The leave stamp is from the Sketchy Leaves

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!

Pauline was inspired by her new Sizzix and 49 and Market Floral Mix Cluster Stamp and Die Set which she used over a background created with Distress Oxide inkpads and coloured with Distress watercolor pencils. She added texture by stamping the Lavinia Texture 2 stamp and layering opaque Distress Texture Paste through a AALL & Create Lotza Diamondz stencil.

Andrea added texture with carboard scraps from her recycling bin. She achieved some drippy colors with Distress Oxide Spray in Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio as well as some Just Walnut Infusions. She added some pops of yellow-orange using Dina Wakley’s Scribble Sticks 2 and added numbers with Elizabeth Crafts’ Measurements stamp set.

Anna-Karin was inspired by the snow outside her window and made a textured winter card. She used Simon Says Stamp Wooded Cabin embossing folder in combination with Prismacolor Pencils and Distress Ink. Snow was created with a Sakura Classic White Bold Line Gelly Roll pen.

Barbara added texture to her tag with Ranger Distress Texture Paste Translucent used together with the Spots stencil by Stampers Anonymous for Tim Holtz. For the center she chose a flower from the Abstract Florals bundle which includes the Stampers Anonymous’ stamp set and the matching Simon Says Stamp dies.

Emma created texture on an Etcetera Panel project, using Distress Translucent Texture Paste and Opaque Crackle Paste for the background, stitched details and combined these products with layers of idea-ology metal adornments, broken ruler pieces and rips and tears to the edges of the Tim Holtz Backdrops Vol 3 paper.

Kath created a Winter Wishes card using Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Mr Frostie with the Simon Says Stamp Co-ordinating Dies, Distress Grit Paste with the Latticework Mini Layering Stencil from Set 4 to add texture and Trinity Stamps Candy Apple Heart Sprinkles.

Macarena went quite colorful with her make and for the textured background she used AALL & Create Evergreen Stencil with Tim Holtz Distress Texture Paste Translucent. Then she added a bird from Tim Holtz Feathered Friends die set and some pieces of Idea-ology Urban Layers.

Maura found a photo of a great family memory, and turned it into an art journal page filled with texture. She used Paper Artsy Infusions like Golden Sands, and Tim Holtz Opaque Texture Paste, with the Simon Says Stamp Floating Leaves stencil. She had fun adding ephemera like Tim Holtz Organic Layers.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Paper Artsy Kate Crane Mini Stencil on the background for the texture, and decorated it with Tim Holtz idea-ology PAPER DOLLS MiNi and Tim Holtz idea-ology Screw Heads.

Zoey used Merchant for the base of her tag, she then added Document Collage paper and used another stamp (Forest Floor) as main focus. She also used Distress Inks + Spray to add color and decorated her tag with Ideaology embellishments.

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
