Hi all and welcome to another week on the\u00a0Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge<\/a><\/p>\n

Thank you for joining us for the Masculine Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.<\/p>\n

This week we are challenging you to add some texture<\/p>\n

Touchy Feely<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

there are many ways that you can add texture to your projects, embossing folders and pastes, 3D flowers, buttons, gems, corrugated card, the supplies that you can use are endless. Whatever you decide to use we will be looking forward to seeing what you create!<\/p>\n

Anne\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0took the challenge theme quite literally and created a wonderfully ‘soft to the touch’ journal, using felt from a\u00a0\u00a0Taylored Expressions Red Felt Bundle<\/a>, a Journal Box Scoreboard Die<\/a> and a Stitchy Flowers and Leaf Die.<\/a> “<\/span><\/p>\n

Andrea<\/a> made a collage with built-up texture from die cuts and flowers. \u00a0She used the negative space of Seth Apter’s Coffee Rings<\/a> for the swirl and added Tim Holtz’s\u00a0Bouquet Flowers<\/a> and Trellis<\/a> die-cuts.<\/p>\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> mixed a whole bunch of different textures on this layout about a favorite tree: dry embossing with the Numberic folder by Tim Holtz<\/a>, wool felt clouds die cut with the Chevron Clouds die by SSS<\/a>, canvas, burlap, cork, cloth, texture paste<\/a> and more.<\/p>\n

Barbara<\/a> \u00a0had much fun creating \u00a0a canvas with \u00a0different kinds of \u00a0textures: Ranger Vintage Foil sheets<\/a>, Ranger \u00a0Texture Paste Transparent Matte<\/a>,\u00a0some layers with Tim Holtz Paper Dolls<\/a> \u00a0and Tim Holtz Sizzix Cityscape Metropolis.<\/a><\/p>\n

\"touchy_barbara\"<\/p>\n

Cathie<\/a>\u00a0created texture on the background for her card using a toothbrush along with Ranger Texture Paste<\/a>. The beautiful stenciled lace gives added texture to the background and was created using the Simon Says Stamp Circular Lace stencil<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Emma<\/a>\u00a0created a panel perfect for Father’s Day and packed it full of many different textures, including\u00a0stitching, an embossed metal panel created\u00a0by using the Tiny Stars Texture Fade<\/a>, corrugated card and burlap<\/a>\u00a0and various metal idea-ology pieces.<\/p>\n

Kath<\/a> created a touchy-feely background on an Etcetera Tag<\/a> using Ranger Opague Crackle Texture Paste<\/a>, Detailed Butterflies<\/a> and Taylored Expressions Felt<\/a><\/p>\n

Lols <\/a>used the corrugated card and burlap from a Tim Holtz Textured Surfaces Pack<\/a> as the base for her touchy feely card, adding more texture with a \u00a0popped up flower from a Flower Garden Set<\/a> and a scrunchy Crinkle Ribbon<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Macarena<\/a>\u00a0loves textures on her projects and also using leftovers from die-cutting. She made a touchy feely background with pieces of a solid cardboard left from Pipelines die <\/a>cutting. She gave a color to the background with Distress Oxides<\/a> and Prima Oil Pastel Crayons<\/a>. Then she placed a very popping-up Artful Flowers<\/a> colored with vibrant colors.<\/p>\n

Maura<\/a> reached right for her Spellbinders Bubble Wrap embossing folder<\/a> to add texture to her card. Worn Lipstick<\/a> and Spiced Marmalade<\/a> Distress Oxide inks added some bright colors, and Prima Art Ingredients Black Cherry<\/a> and Gold Mica Powders<\/a> from Finnabair added the sparkle and shine.<\/p>\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to created a mixed media canvas with stenciled heart using Simon Says Stamp Mosaic Heart Stenci<\/a>l and Prima Flowers Modeling Paste<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"meihsia-liu-simply-paper-crafts-mixed-media-canvas-simon-ssays-stamp-prima-flowers-texture-1\"<\/p>\n

Sandra<\/a> turned the\u00a0cover of her thoughts and feelings notebook (aka touchy feely notebook)\u00a0in to something colorful\u00a0using lots of washi tape with Opal Magic Paint<\/a>, and\u00a0\u00a0Cracked Pistachio<\/a>, Picked Raspberry<\/a>, Mustard Seed<\/a> Distress Paint, and Vibrant Turquoise<\/a> Dylusions Paint on top.

Zoey<\/a>\u00a0used Distress Paint<\/a>\u00a0, modeling paste<\/a> and The Crafters Workshop Mini Believe Script 6×6 Template<\/a>\u00a0to create these two ATCs<\/p>\n
