Thank you for joining us for the Hip Hop Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.<\/p>\n

This week we are challenging you to<\/p>\n

Splash It On\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

incorporate water into your project. It can be an image of water, or water colouring, or splashing water onto your creation. We will be looking forward to seeing what you make!<\/p>\n

Amy<\/a>\u00a0used a Hero Arts Wave Pattern background stamp<\/a> along with Hero Arts Ombre Ink<\/a>,\u00a0Distress Ink<\/a>, and Dylusions Paint<\/a> to create her pair of stunning nautical mixed media cards.<\/p>\n

Andrea<\/a> splashed on a lot of Dylusions Ink Sprays<\/a> and water to make the backgrounds of her eclectic cards. \u00a0She also used Tim Holtz’s Cityscape Skyline die<\/a> and a Spellbinder’s Orange You a Tomato die<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> made a textured watercolor canvas this week, featuring an under the sea scene. Tim Holtz’s Sea Life<\/a> stamps were perfect for the theme and she worked on a Prima 8 x 10 Watercolor Canvas<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Barbara<\/a> has used Tim Holtz Illustrated Garden stamp set<\/a> to create a card. She used Distress spray stain<\/a> \u00a0and Distress ink pad<\/a> as watercolor to color her background.<\/p>\n

Cathie<\/a>\u00a0used Tumbled Glass<\/a> and Broken China<\/a> Distress Sprays, the Lattice Frameworks<\/a> die and Simon Says Stamp’s Falling Snow<\/a> stencil for color and texture in her background. The Garden Flowers<\/a> are colored with Distress Markers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Emma’<\/a>s thoughts turned to a deep blue ocean when making this project and she created an art panel full of texture and dimension using Distress Oxide Inks<\/a> on the background and adding Dimensional Stars<\/a> encrusted in Mini Art Stones<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Kath<\/a>\u00a0used Distress Oxide Inks<\/a> splashed with water to create the background for her “Dancing In The Rain” Crazy Bird<\/a> card<\/p>\n

Lols<\/a>\u00a0used a new Tim Holtz Flower Jar Stamp Set<\/a>\u00a0and some new Oxide Ink Pads<\/a> for the background, which give a lovely chalky effect when splashed with liquid.<\/p>\n

Macarena<\/a>\u00a0went for a masculine card which includes two big splashes and a lot of\u00a0Ephemera Snippets<\/a>\u00a0elements, a watercolored gentleman from Time Travelers<\/a>\u00a0stamp by Tim Holtz and a background built with Distress Walnut Stain Oxide Ink<\/a>\u00a0on embossed Modern Mosaic<\/a> stamp by MFT.<\/p>\n

Maura’s<\/a> been thinking about Earth Day this week, so she worked in her Dylusions Art Journal<\/a>, inspired by Stencil Girl’s Sea Turtle stencil<\/a> and Tim Holtz’s Splash layering stencil<\/a>, with a sprinkling of Unicorn Rainbow sequins by 28 Lilac Lane.<\/a><\/p>\n

Meihsia<\/a> created a mixed media tag using\u00a0Daniel Smith Watercolors<\/a> on the background and adding sentiment with Simon Says Stamp Handlettered Greeting Wafer Die<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sandra<\/a> had fun making some splashes with Infusions<\/a> for this card, also using the Bubble<\/a> stencil\u00a0and Droplets<\/a>.

Zoey<\/a>\u00a0used Distress Oxide<\/a> and Tim Holtz Stickers<\/a> to create this TAG<\/p>\n
