With all of the holiday celebrations and year-end madness, we are taking a break from regular challenges. But do not despair! The design team will be checking in to share inspiration and ideas with you. Today, we asked six team members to share their best\u00a0ideas for getting\u00a0merry with Tim Holtz stamps.<\/p>\n

Candy<\/a> is always merry when she has some Tim Holtz Holiday stamps nearby!<\/p>\n

I am ashamed to admit that I have Tim’s Christmas Blueprint stamps and have not used them. So, I was determined that THIS Christmas, I was going to create something fun using his Christmas Tree Blueprint Stamp<\/a>. A Giant Manila Tag<\/a>, covered with Tim’s Melange Tissue Wrap<\/a> and distressed with Fired Brick<\/a>, Evergreen Bough<\/a>, Pine Needles Distress Inks<\/a> and highlighted with Tarnished Brass Distress Stain<\/a> was the perfect background for my Blueprint Christmas tree forest.<\/em><\/p>\n

This card combines so many of my favorite things about Tim Holtz stamps<\/a>. I love using white embossing powder <\/a>onto specialty stamping paper<\/a>, then blending distress inks<\/a> to create a very vintage background.<\/p>\n

Sandra Mouwen<\/a> wants to give you her Christmas wishes by sharing the Christmas cards she made.

\nI’m so into my Gelli Plate<\/a> at the moment and I loved making these Christmas cards using some of Tim Holtz Christmas stamps, like Season’s Silhouettes<\/a>, Christmas Blueprint<\/a> and Mini Holiday 2<\/a>. For more dimension and decoration I cut out the 25 of the Christmas Stacked Words<\/a> die and used colored ModelingPaste<\/a> with the Let It Snow<\/a> stencil.<\/em><\/p>\n

Kraft is definitely the story of Dan’s<\/a> Christmas this year and so he’s been making appropriately themed gift tags.<\/p>\n

Christmas isn’t Christmas for me unless it’s vintage – I’ve even got original glass Shiny Brite ornaments from the ’60s hanging on my tree! With that in mind, kraft just works so well with vintage Christmas themes and I decided I needed to make some kraft gift tags to go with the kraft wrapping paper I’m using this year. Tim Holtz’s Christmas Blueprint 2<\/a> stamp set is perfect for this, the hand-drawn style matches perfectly with the roughness of the kraft cardstock. Naturally a little bling is needed to sparkle up the season, so I incorporated Stickles in Christmas red<\/a>, holly green<\/a> and gold<\/a>, as well as some Brushed Pewter distress stain<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

Andrea<\/a> crammed as much Tim Holtz goodness as she could into this little Christmas tag.<\/p>\n

I didn’t know whether to be entertained or shocked when my parents told me about two young Christmas carolers who showed up on their door demanding figgy pudding or cash. They were totally serious, too. Pretty sweet racket considering cash is a whole lot more convenient to dole out than figgy pudding! In any event, I decided to pay homage to carolers everywhere with a tag using Tim Holtz’s new carolers die<\/a> and Christmas Deco<\/a> stamp set.<\/em><\/p>\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> needed last minute Christmas cards and made eight of them with Tim Holtz Blueprint stamps.<\/p>\n

If you are like me, you might discover that you made too few Christmas cards yet again. Tim Holtz Blueprint stamps <\/a>work great for making quick cards, especially if you pair them up with Distress Inks <\/a>and die cuts<\/a>. I die cut a base from watercolour paper<\/a>, stamped with a Blueprint stamp and watercoloured with Distress Inks. The recipient is sure to be merry!<\/em><\/p>\n
