The weather is quite chilly at the Simon HQ, but you can also choose to chill out at the beach with if you prefer warmer climes! There are lots of options for this challenge, we can’t wait to see what you create!<\/p>\n

Autumn<\/span><\/a>\u00a0is most\u00a0chilled outl when working in her cardboard junk journal. \u00a0Here she’s used\u00a0<\/span>Found Relatives<\/span><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>Paper Snowflake<\/span><\/a>\u00a0die cuts over an icy watercolor background created with\u00a0<\/span>Distress Inks<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Andrea<\/a> made a chill-worthy Popsicle card using Concord & 9th’s Sweet & Cool stamp set<\/a>, My Favorite Thing’s Stitched Square Scallop Frame dies<\/a> and Tim Holtz’s Word Play<\/a> alphabet dies.<\/p>\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> made a winter card, using the lovely Penny Black Frosty Day<\/a> stamp. The window was stamped with Hero Arts Vintage Metallic Steel Ombre ink pad<\/a> and clear embossed, to give it the look of glass.<\/p>\n

For Barbara<\/a> creating a tag is the best way to chill out! She used Tim Holtz Found Relatives,\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0Tim Holtz Stencil Flourish,<\/a>\u00a0Wendy Vecchi embossing paste Crackled Texture<\/a> and \u00a0Distress Sprays.<\/a><\/p>\n

Cathie<\/a>\u00a0created a card with using Tim Holtz Crazy Cats<\/a> and the Simon Says Stamp Abstract Triangles<\/a> and Look For The Miracles<\/a> stamp sets to add interest to her background.<\/p>\n

Emma<\/a>\u00a0loves nothing more than chilling out with one of her favourite TV shows, Sherlock and\u00a0was inspired by the character\u00a0to create a piece of artwork using\u00a0Tim Holtz’s Cityscape <\/a>and\u00a0Evolution stamps<\/a> and surrounding it with die cut Gadget Gears<\/a>!<\/p>\n

In Kath’s <\/a>world Chill Out = Coffee and she is sharing a birthday card for a male friend using Tim Holtz Wallflower Paper Stash Pad<\/a>,\u00a0Darkroom Door Coffee Time<\/a> and Simon Says Stamp Lots of Dots<\/a> stamps<\/p>\n

Lols <\/a>took the theme quite literally and used a Tim Holtz Snowman Blueprint<\/a> to make an icy Christmas Card. She is starting her box of Christmas cards<\/span>\u00a0early this year in the hopes that she is better organised and more ‘chilled out’ for 2017!<\/p>\n

Macarena\u00a0<\/a>made a canvas cover for her new recipe notebook. Lately cakes baking make her chill out in the kitchen and so does having free time for doing projects for herself. She used Distress Paints,<\/a>\u00a0Opal Magic Paint<\/a> and Mod Podge<\/a> to secure the final compotition. She colored the World Play<\/a> letters with Ecoline Liquid Watercolor<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Maura<\/a> headed out into the chilly reaches of space and altered two notebooks using Carta Bella’s Space Academy collection<\/a> and Dina Wakley’s Mini Favorite Media stencil<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This week, Meihsia<\/a> was relaxed and inspired to create a simple painting on a canvas with Sakura Koi Watercolors<\/a> and decorated it Tim Holtz Big Chat Stickers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sandra<\/a> made some invitations for her birthday party to chill out with her friends and used the Ringer<\/a> stencil to emboss with and stamped on some Vellum<\/a> to create some interest

Zoey<\/a> used Distress Crayons\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0and Tim Holtz Layering Stencil <\/a>to “chill out” while making this art journal page<\/p>\n
