Welcome to the new home of the Simon Says Stamp Monday challenges! Formerly known as Simon Says Stamp and Show, our design team focuses on the vintage, grungy, shabby, and funky side of the paper crafting world. If you’re new to our blog, welcome! We welcome creative styles of all kinds to enter our challenges\u00a0and hope you’ll join in the fun. Every Monday you’ll find a new challenge, and during the week you will find a tutorial or how-to post as well. For those moving with us – we think you’re going to love the new site!<\/p>\n
This is going to be a lot of fun – and with four new design team members as well as our new weekly tutorial and feature posts and spotlighting entries each week in our challenges this is a very exciting time! Now that I’ve explained a bit about our move, let’s talk about the “Little Stamping” challenge winners from last week!<\/p>\n

First up, our spotlight entries for the week.<\/p>\n

#44 Valerie-Jael<\/a>\u00a0shares a unique box with so much stamping and detail you’ll want to take a second look. Suzanne says: The matchbox is lovely inside and out. The outside has layers of images and open it up and a little note is waiting to be sent with the pen.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n While #74 Monika\/buzsy<\/a>\u00a0makes a beautiful mess with this artfully stamped card this week. Suzanne says: I love how she used the pink and turquoise together with the soft touches of white paint. The torn edges with the paper feathers add a lovely layer of texture.<\/em><\/p>\n You’ll have to look carefully to see all the stamping goodnesss that #94\u00a0 Oxana<\/a>\u00a0put into her tags this week. Anna-Karin says: Oxana made a beautiful hinged tag project from balsa wood, perfectly stamped and embellished.<\/em><\/p>\n #110\u00a0 Heather Adams<\/a>\u00a0reminded me that little stamps can really make the most excellent of backgrounds. I love how she kept things monochromatic for the background and added dimension and color to her sundae accent on this card. Making your own background patterns with little stamps can be such fun – and I love her take on the challenge.<\/p>\n Looking for some color and intensely inspiring layering? Check out what #113 Norma Gomez<\/a>\u00a0made this week! Candy says:\u00a0I love how she used Tim Holtz\u2019 Classic #5 lady in this canvas because that sharply cut off top of her head can sometimes be a problem.\u00a0The background of the canvas is wonderful! I love all of the texture, the vibrant color and the bits of added white sketch lines.\u00a0 What a fun piece!<\/em><\/p>\n The final (and tiniest!) entry this week, we have an amazing creation by #156\u00a0 Mary Elizabeth<\/a>\u00a0that you have to see to believe. Anita says: Pure GENIUS making this little stamped book from the mini jalopy die. The pin and jumprings make a great spiral holder to bind it all together. What a fabby little gem of a project!<\/em><\/p>\n Congratulations to you all!
